@Buzzisms He was known to paint using mirrors and reflections, but like I stated previously, I think it's a coincidence myself. Just a neat coincidence.
@iamthenix yes i just think people are looking way too far into it. i think if he intended a secret to be revealed using duplicates of the same painting, he would have went ahead and created two of them as a hint. instead i think he would have just resorted to other methods that maybe a fold job or a magnifying glass would reveal or even crossing the eyes and looking at the painting or something.

Interesting, but at what point do you draw the line in the mirror image? Can't you come up with other faces if you superimpose it differently? The last supper painting is more convincing to me since it is done over the center.
I've seen the "reversed" pictures of da Vinci, some of them really impressed me, but the fact is that you can always place them in a way that they show "something". Sorry, but this doesn't really convince me.
