I don't get why people would give this master piece a negatieve feedback or categorize him in an ethnical group. I think that it is a pure of musical lackness...............

i think ustad was one of gods wonders.. i would love to hear him in a duet with ustad mehdi hassan .. o god that would have been some mouth watering stuff.

Mehdi Hassan khan was singing one time in Kabul (sometime in the 70's), and Ustad Sarahang was invited as well.
So Ustad Sarahang, Ustad Naynawaz, and Ustad Hashim went together.... as soon as Mehdi Hassan Khan saw Ustad Sarahang he stopped singing and got on his feet and greeted Ustad Sarahang with respect as an Ustad. a lot of Afghans still dont understand his level of music. He was one of the greats, and goes down in Classical history with Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, and Ustad Amir Khan
