I have found the people of Bombay Beach to be wonderful and very friendly. Sure, the videos and pictures always show what will garner the most attention. Still, the Salton Sea is amazing.

It's a trip to hear you people talk about my hometown like it's a freakshow.......but I guess thats what it has become. Believe me...growing up there in it's prime was AWSOME! Hunting, fishing skiing, Dirtbikes ETC. and no cops! The stories are endless. Try to see past the decay and envision what was........

@RadioReprised I've found the locals at Bombay Beach to actually be nice people. On a recent visit, several locals help get my truck and trailer unstuck from the sand. Awesome sunsets and such a surreal place.
