  • Just sounds like a New Zealand accent to me... I bet yours is very strong to anyone else from a country other than yours, therefore it's unfair to put down the 'strong accent' in this video. Must one expect them to find Americans or Brits to feature in their safety video instead?? This is Air NEW ZEALAND after all...

  • VIDEO FOCUS TOO HIGH

  • when i flew to canada i watched this more then 100 times my flight was from new zealnd to canada and it was 13 hours of sitting down!!

  • Hang on... i thought if its a national airline- therefore a charter flight, they would use a boeing 757? i think someones been giving me misleading information at college! lol! :)

  • The guy at 0:45 is very cute :D

  • lol i saw him on one of the flights

  • I wondered why the of the lady is expanding and compressing now I see why...Its paint! It looked so read not unless you play it in HD^^ haha!

I wonder if air New Zealand would do this...or maybe other airliner perhaps..

    hahahaha!

  • have you noticed there uniform is painted on

  • no shit thats the whole point of the ad.

"weve got nothing to hide" and the song

  • what song do they use?

  • read description

  • it's "under my skin" by Gin Wigmore. LOVE HER.

  • should have had subtitle i think ;p

  • y u paint on the unform

  • Because they did it on the add

  • haha this is kindof an awkward video but itll get your attention...im not sure i wanna be sitting in that aircraft either haha but it was a good video!

  • I believe its "From the airline whose fees have nothing to hide"

  • What does she say at he end? From the airline whose ..... have nothing to hide. Kia ora and have a great flight. What word must be on the dots?

  • fares

  • OMG!!! I was listening to Mark and Brian (on 92.3 KGON in Portland) and thought I'd give this a look. Apparently, I'm not the only one who heard the show this morning. Those guys are the greatest chuckleheads ever.

  • 95.5 KLOS ROCKS

  • Mark and Brian rock. They are the best radio program in the U.S.

  • Mark and Brian are a couple of yahoo's from la that are on the radio in the morning, and they are not that funny

  • Thanks Mark & Brian

  • Who is Mark & Brian?

  • I can understand the instruction on board in case of danger, but if il60% go to pieces that serve all of this? I continue to confirm for now but no air feet on the ground or sea

  • omfg those really dont look like real uniforms =/

  • How were those seats cleaned after this demo?

  • what accent???lol We are new Zealanders not english (upperclass english at that) and anyway there are many accents throughout britian, so which is the right way to speak do you think mr/mrs/ms/miss/master judge everyone... kia ora (also means thanks) I work on this plane the 737-300 for airnz and enjoy seeing the new video, you dont have to like it you just have to pay attention its your safety we have in mind. Thanks guys! (The crew) kia ora. xo

  • Cool video!

  • What a great video. Very clever graphics, loved it. Bubbly, friendly and fun. Paid attention to the whole thing. Never done that when actually on the aircraft. Shame about Maori greeting and strong accent. Change those two things and we have one classy and possibly the best safety video world wide. It will certainly give Richard Branson food for thought. If you didn't know better you would have associated with a virgin Vid. Well done Air NZ.

  • The accent sounds so 'common' - what is Air NZ thinking of?

  • hope they cleaned the seats afterwards...

  • Guess what wil go through my mind the next time a airline hostess walks away from me? Even with their strict luaguage rules and expensive airfare, Air New Zealand is my pick, just for that bit.

  • when she first talked her accent was so thick it sounded like another language

  • what accent? seems fine to me!

  • As a New Zealander, I have to say that I am constantly embarrassed by the self importance of my fellow kiwi's. It isn't so much that most of us feel that we are better than everyone else. It's is just a few of us who feel that our views of trivial matters such as enunciation are important and need to be shared. Zzzzzzzz

  • No need to be offensive, hads010. If you have ever travelled overseas you would notice that most English speaking foreigners speak far better English than we do. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't matter for most people. But anyone effectively representing New Zealand in an international adverstising campaign should make an effort to be intelligible.

  • wtf you plagiarised your first line of comment from the previous post?

  • Haha you mean when she says "Kia ora"? might be because it IS another language, Maori. oh, and what accent? seems fine to me too

  • great video and funny!

  • She's got the right idea at 1:58

  • Subtle enough that if you don't WANT to see anything, you won't. If you (like me) are prone to guttermind... OMG funny!

  • gosh, it looks so real...

  • we.. i agree with you

  • if it got your attention, then it worked :)

  • excellent vid! gets and keeps my attention ;)

  • dam gurl at the end got a phatty

  • haha, this is awesome. It's really really funny.

  • they sound so happy about this safety video

  • Come down under and discover why!

  • LOL the slightest turbulence scare me to death.

i watch too much air crash investigation on discovery. I'm sure i wouldn't be this calm when shit goes down haha.

  • i think dieing in an airplane is cool

  • can anybody tell me what is the music at the begining of this video?

  • Under My Skin - Gin Wigmore

  • Oh sure. They show the men's chests but not the women's. Where's the equality? :)

  • I totally agree with you :) !

  • @taurnguard .. the part @ 3:07 is nice :0)

  • This is brilliant! I paid absolute attention throughout the entire demonstration. I've, much like practically every other air traveler, usually try to ignore this pre-flight event.

The crew members were well presented, both female as well as the male. I could see from their countenance that they were having fun the whole time.
