Londin Calling is billed as the album of the 80's.even though it was released in 79,like the Stone Roses album, the album of the 90's,when it was made in 89...
london calling was released in 79 but didnt get released here in amaerica till jan of 1980, so rolling stone in there infinte wisdom decided to call it THE album of the 80s
These guys had "it" like few other bands before them, and nobody since. They were the coolest!!! Joe Strummer, R.I.P. God bless you man, you wrote some great stuff.
why does Kosmo narrate as if he was one of the Four Horsemen?

In the same category as abbey road, quadrophenia, ziggy stardust etc. as one of the greatest rock albums ever made. Absolutely superb.

Stop wasting your time, there's nothing coming
Only a fool would think someone could save you
The men at the factory are old and cunning
You don't owe nothing so boy get running
It'the best years of your life they want to steal"RIP Joe.
