That would be me. I am mechanically inclined, but do not take a full restoration on yourself without being prepared to buy lots of specialized BMW tools. I had a lot of help from my friend Peter in this video who had all the knowledge and the special tools. You could get advice though from Benchmark Works and you could send the harder pieces out to specialized vendors.
