Ha awesome work mate I was wondering how to nail the two pull of sequences towards the end of the intro and the start of the solo and youve shown just how to do it. PS for all those people who dont know how to tap and cant recognise the sound of tapping maybe do some excercises before trying to accomlish a tapping part as technical as this, I recommend the steve vai 30 hour workout as its got everything you need to get your skills up in this department

@paintyoursky no its not a pull off... you have to actualy pluck the string again otherwise the string wont vibrate.. pulloff just changes the length of the string to give you a different note and uses the preexisting vibration.. so please dont say things like that when you have no idea

@mariamad90 its a tecnique called tapping it dosn't require strumming because every time you tap the string it vibrates the string and you don't need to strum because your already producing a vibration with the tapping

Well the guitar is actualy pretty rare.. although it looks alot like a ibanez or guitar that looks like it, its not.. Its a 1989 Westone Corsair GT One of the few that actualy started production in the united states and ended up in a Matsamugo Japan factory then shipped

back to the united states.. weird eh? as far as the pickups go they are all stock exept the neck its a duncan hotrails pickup.. i kinda actualy wish it was an original pup though.. because it would increase the value of the guitar quite alot to a collecter.. oh well i bought it like that already...

if you own an ibanez (an rg120),

do you get fret buzz and if so have you found a solution?

no i dont own any ibanezes but fret buzz is caused by the action on your strings set too low to get rid of buzz you need to either raise your bridge saddle or have the frets professionally hoaned down

i think it might be having to do with the trussel rod being too tight but theres no obvious opening to adjust

you NEVER want to adjust action by the truss rod the truss rod is under the headstock cover you just have to take off the 2 screws on the cover to expose it and you will need the correct sized alan wrench to adjust it... but its not adviseable to do unless you have a professional with you

well first off i am doing a series of things i tap pull of hammer on and pluck the string you have to have your amp on some sort of distortion to be able to hear the tapping just take the tip of your finger and slightly pull up on the string to get the last sound

This is a 1989 westone corsair gt if you could find another one you would have 1 of only 1000 ever made good luck :) they made this guitar in between the period of their transition from american made to japaneese made guitars so they never went into full production only a trial run very rare to find

im thinking about getting the toneworks ax1500 and was wondering how i would set the eq for it being infront of the amp instead of the effects loop. Would the toneworks bypass the eq?

well it kinda depends what amp you have my amp has a input on the back that bypases all the eq of the normal amp but if your amp does not have that feature then the ax1500g will have to be set right with the eq of the amp it will not bypass you will want it on the clean channel with everything set at 1/2 then adjust from there
