@SketchyAussie: Leveling might be a side effect for immersing yourself, but I still remember the times when the only places to get decent exp after 90s were High orcs and raydrics. Believe me when I said I was sick of those two; and the highest char level I got was 94 priest. So yeah, leveling was definitely one of the boring parts of the game. If you ask me what made RO great, though, that would be WoE. With a decent enough guild, you'd enjoy WoE thoroughly.

I'm skeptical of the quest system. Quests in MMOs get monotonous very quickly no matter how much effort is put into them. This has been proven in many MMOs released in the last decade (after RO).

One of the reasons that Ragnarok Online was such a great game in my opinion is that it was largely based on immersion and exploration, and you could tell they put a lot of effort into that. Leveling up to me was just a side effect of immersing yourself in the game. That's what makes an MMO great.

They put the old camera from ragnarok 1 in this, all you have to do is change the camera style >.>

why you don't use the original theme song of the PRONTERA in old Ragnarok.. i think it is much better...we fill like we are playing Ragnarok when the theme song is the same in every map.specially in PAYON..

You sure that's prontera? I paused at part where I can see the map and it looks more like portion of prontera instead of the city itself. Atleast the game looks better than the older version of two, but meh not as good as original Ragnarok haha. Great video thought.

@XRasenX Two of them, I always have a quest to do but still got to kill some mobs sometimes. I think questing is faster than kill mobs.

@ramborambo55 In the latest beta, not only were there both genders of each job, but you could choose what gender you wanted your character to be regardless of your account's gender.
