@ the beginning OTG always thinks there's flying things coming but it's always scorpions! I don't blame him too much they make about the same sound.

Kleers have a hit-point range of 2-3 shotty shells. So using the double barrel may work faster, but it is ultimately a huge waste of ammo.

Save it for things like mechs, if you give this game another playthrough.

Actually, knife can kill a large group of kleers faster than a double shotgun.

there's a goodie-stash in the desert 200 m to the left. i'd get them (and spawn some mechs to play with).

There's one like that in the first level of the game. It spawns 4 Major Bio-Mechs, and you have only magnums to beat them with. But they are far away, and spread out, so it's easy (if time consuming) to kill them.

The rewards are: A megahealth, 10 shotty shells, 5 rockets.

yup and if you shoot the palm tree there you even get to shoot some harpies. this kind of secret is quite common in ss.

oh and never magnum biomechs, knife them!

And the winner is the game with the best Ambience and Graphics... not the best fun factor =/ sadly.

Right now only some shooters have a feature to have whole waves at you. So far though only Gears of War 2 has that. Least it's co-op also :(
