I like added one vertex by itself, gave it a halo material, went to the right for the halo options, Flare, star, etc... It's pretty much random, though, because I can't reproduce that effect now.
Whoa, chill man. I used GLOW from the Sequence Editor. Just go there, press SPACE, add Scene. With the scene selected, press SPACE, add Glow. Press F10 twice to enter the glow options and before rendering press DO SEQUENCE from the Render Options panel (F10 once).
needless to say a neverending wormhole is theorically impossible, a Wormhole must have 2 points, a begining and a closing point. Thus this leads to the conpect of it being a funnel in space, basically compressing space within the phenomenon. and with the walls of the wormhole, it wouldnt look digital, maybe for a portal into cyberspace, but not for a natural occcuring phenomenon in the universe
But then again, nobody actually saw a wormhole, let alone try to loop it, so there's really a lot of possibilities. (could a loop be the result of a buffer sequence?)
indeed, but its mostly based on things i've read and my own theorys lol,, but good work on atempt, i would like to see a better verison if you ever get the chance to make one lol
nice its a damn good program but how good is your computer? when ever im trying to use simple tools on blender with lots of objects it keeps on freezing
I first got Blender running in about September 2005. At the moment, I had a Pentium IV 630 (single-core, 3.01 GHz), an nVIDIA GeForce EN 6600 LE, 1x512 MB RAM on 533 MHz. So not that good, OK?
Blender always ran great on these settings (sure, it required tons of tweaking to get the best out of my CPU). Up until recently, I had the exact same CPU.
So it's not really the computer that counts, rather the install or the program itself. Try re-installing, dude.
thanks and cant wait for the tut man gret colours and effects and wire frame around the worm hole and the sun glance thingy in the cammera and ... its great can seriously not wait for the tutorial!!!
It's the quality... funny thing actually, because I rendered as avi, like every other render I upload here, normal avi... but I manually changed the extension to mpg to get it into DreamScene and I uploaded it as such. Now, those lines of odd colour are a symbol of mpg behaviour. Did I just fool the YouTube master server?!
in-built quicktime player. but my dad is a Macintosh user. what ive gathered from him is that a macintosh is very unlike a PC. and he always recomends me to have one. actually macintosh computers are very good and reliable. but i prefer my very own PC.
now dude.... i believe we all have a destiny and i think that your destiny is to make a fucking tutorial arhggg man thats sooo cool and i want to know tell meee!!!!!!!!!!! argggggggg!!!!!!!!! help!!!!!!!!! thats so cooooll!!!!!
Oy, dude! Chill, like the **** out, breathe normally... of course I intended to make a tut on this, that's why I posted this, so you can awe all over again, wait a few seconds and then beg for a tutorial.
Surely you can understand how much fun it can be, right? No harm done, a tut will arrive soon enough.

Hey.

@agent47crows
Have you tried to use nodes to do the glow effect?...You get far more control that way + more options.

Good thinking, actually.

Dude.
Lemme start on a short story.
I first got Blender running in about September 2005. At the moment, I had a Pentium IV 630 (single-core, 3.01 GHz), an nVIDIA GeForce EN 6600 LE, 1x512 MB RAM on 533 MHz. So not that good, OK?
