  • what do you think of white tea? It has similar antioxidants to black and green teas and some studies have even shown it to contain more antioxidants. Also white tea has the least amount of all Camellia based teas.

  • This kind of health advice is ridiculous. This is for neurotic paranoid people who think everything is bad for them. Do you think over analyzing every single food/drink decision is going to make you healthier? It just makes you crazier.

Basil tea? Are you kidding? I can understand the no coffee thing, but no green tea because there is caffeine? There is like minimal or no caff in green tea.

  • Too much of anything is not good whether it's sugar, caffeine, fat, etc. I just know that my dad drank coffee every single day and he lived 90 years with never a health issue. So, what works for one may not work for another. Nothing is cut and dry.

  • some of us need caffeine to help when we go to the gym to "lift things up and put them down again!"

  • Favorite teas are: pandan leaf tea, tulsi, fennel, mint. All give the added benefit of nice aromas in the rooms they are prepared in.

  • Tulsi, Kukicha (Japanese Twig Tea) or nearly anything herbal.. just no licorice (yuck!)

  • Peppermint, white tea or dandelion for me.

  • I drink 2-3 glasses of prince of peace green tea. It seems to have a cleansing effect on me & gives me energy for the nightshift. I can't stand coffee unless it has 3 spoons of sugar to sweeten the taste. Since becoming high raw, I don't drink ANY sugar so therefore I don't drink coffee anymore.

  • I drink 4 to 5 cups of coffe a day, and I'm effen nuts, all the time

  • Hibiscus!

  • My fav teas are organic african nectar, rose, dandelion, mint, and anise.

  • Green tea is great. It doesn't have a lot of caffeine and I don't think caffeine in small amounts is bad. There are certain antioxidants in green tea that are not found in many other places (catechin being one).

  • holy basil FRESH from my garden and use the flowers and leaves for tea... there are many varieties of holy basil (aka tulsi) so its important to find the right one.

  • Chaga - reishi - mint - separate or combined

  • Tulsi tea with lavender

  • What you like to be teased? :) Oh you don't like caffine teas.

  • I think a good shot of wheatgrass will top a cup of coffee anyday. I used to drink a 12 cup pot of coffee all to myself, but no longer!! High Raw changed my cravings and green is where its at for energy. As for tea, I was raised on herbals. A friend introduced me to Thyme tea a few months ago to help with an allergy and wow, very nice tea...excellent flavour with a bit of a bite if you leave in the herb until you drain the cup. Otherwise its gentle as chamomile(not for me) but not so pungent.

  • Jasmine, milk thistle and chai

  • Perhaps the most powerful tea, with no caffeine, is my favorite, Gynostemma. Gynostemma tea is one of the powerful adaptogens in the world, tastes good, and all you have to do is boil water, steep the tea for a few minutes, and enjoy.

The reason why it's so effective is that it has more saponins than even ginseng at a fraction of the cost. These "gypenosides" are the most active ingredient and help the body fight stress, balance all systems, rebuild adrenals, reduce inflammation, etc...

  • some of these seems obsessive

  • Favorite tea...hmmm...right now I'd say Red Clover. :)

  • What is the best tasting raw juice to drink first thing in the morning to start my day on "right"? I know you will give a tasty morning recipe. The average green juice in the morning is NOT good until later in the day......just sayin" Love your guys!!!!!!

  • Teeccino Caffeine-free Herbal Coffee is a delicious blend of herbs, grains, fruits and nuts that are roasted and ground to brew and taste just like coffee.

Coffee lovers are attracted to Teeccino’s full-bodied, dark roasted flavor and its .

  • rooibos !!

  • lies, I care about the wideangle lens! =-)

  • What about the occasional cup of coffee, balanced by adrenal building herbs: reishi, schisandra, maca, taking extra b vitamins and zinc. Keeping hydrated is important too- and taking MSM in water seems to help this, as well as a largely raw diet. I agree caffeine can be bad, but sometimes it makes you work hard, be creative and be social, which are huge things for general happiness.I think maybe we need an approach that works with where people are, not idealisms! love your show- just my opinion!

  • Hey Kev, you should just put a 30.5-37mm step up ring on your Flip. It allows you to put any 37mm lens on the Flip. Fisheye, wide angle, whatever. There are a ton of vids on YouTube you can find on how to do this. Plus, this allows you to put filters on the lenses as well. So your options are endless and can give you some cool looks and effects. Namaste!

  • i drink 13 pots a day of coffee almost 100 cups

i used to drinks (2( 2 liters of pop a day + a few cans switch to coffee

  • Green Tea has L-Theanine though. It's a calming component.

  • I don't believe that one should avoid tea, simply because it contains a small amount of caffeine in it. The anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting benefits of tea far outweigh the possible, minor caffeine side-effects. Of course, drinking tea in excess is not recommended.

  • I've been putting coffee flavor drops in hot water, to get the taste of coffee.....it's really good, and it's clear, so doesn't stain teeth, and has no caffeine. I bought the flavor drops from therawfoodworld website.

  • Lemongrass

  • rooibos!

  • I enjoy green tea almost everyday interspersed with white and rooibis. I also on occasion enjoy a shot of espresso...

  • I have a tea I'm drinking right now thats a nice quality green tea, flavored with black currant and cardamom. so nice.

  • hello kevin not all coffees are unhealthy. if you drink an alkaline coffee. its not bad

  • Tea doesn't mean caffeine, nor does it mean just black of green. I make tea from fresh herbs, garlic, flowers, etc.and they do not contain caffeine. They can be very healing and sometimes the only way for a person to get certain medicinal properties from specific plants - depending on the person.. I am glad you can enjoy herbal teas as well, I recently got into them and really enjoy the occassional herbal medicinal tea. I love fennel and anise tea, great for digestion. Rose hips, hibiscus too!

  • @MyOwnStickFigure As for favorite tea, one of my favorites is real simple: fresh parsley and fresh garlic. On top of the ones listed in my last comment I also enjoy homegrown feverfew for migraines, dandelion for edema/water retention... Tea is my last resort to get certain nutrients but sometimes the only way I can during digestive disrupt or health issues. The ONLY way I can get garlic though is light in a tea... mmm with homegrown parsley... yummmm

  • rooibos , tulsi, ginger!!!

  • Tea is good for you, chill!

  • Since I have stopped having milk in my tea(used to have a cup of early grey every day), I tend to drink Egyptian licorice tea(soooo good!!!!).

  • It is very wrong to classify foods based solely on anti-oxidant content. Green tea not only has a lot of anti-oxidants, but it also contains more flavonoids and phytochemicals that are extremely beneficial for health. It also promotes digestion and has a long list of health benefits. Its caffein content is much much lower than coffee, and I believe some can help you energize up. Don't forget that people in Asia have been drinking it for 5,000 years and was historically praised for its benefits.

  • I have read that Green tea is strongly linked to stomach cancer. Check the book "The enzyme factor" to find out more.

  • rooibos (caffeine free naturally)

    green tea

    'herb' teas:

    horsetail (silica)

    rose hips

    dandelion

    mullien

    lavender

    and so many more

  • steelers!!

  • Kevin, please stop hating on Green Tea. Camellia sinensis is also an herb - one that is filled with nutrients to nourish the body. The caffeine content in great tea supposedly does not work for you, and that's fine, but it works for me and countless other people. I think it's better to make that clear. I've been drinking green tea consistently for 7 years now, and it doesn't screw me up like coffee does.

  • one of my favorite teas is jiaogulan and lapacho

  • Yerba Mate and Mayan Cocoa Spice ( Yogi)

  • I care about wide angle lens, well done and thanks for sharing as always :)

  • How do I get off Coke Zero, I just realised how much of an addict Iam!!

  • green tea!

  • I never realized how much of a stimulant caffeine was until I quit drinking it. I have tried it a few times after the addiction was over and wow, I now hate the stuff. I do enjoy a cup of decaf tulsi tea, mmmmmmm. My adrenals are still bad from years of caffeine.

  • Citrus Herbal Tea, and Mint Herbal Tea are my favorites! Very tasty, and relaxing!!

  • Yerba Mate is Fantastic>! Matter Fact there is a vid of you on a roof in Buenos Aires drinking it?
