  • I dont trust Aslam Abdullah.

He is a vice-chairman of both Muslim Council of America and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. The second of these organizations has threatened Steven Emerson with legal action. It tried to get Steven Emerson blocked from giving testimony to the House Subcommittee on Terrorism and Nonproliferation by demonstrating in front of its chairman Brad Sherman, (cont.)

  • demanding the cancellation of a subcommittee hearing on whether American foreign aid is going to organizations affiliated with terrorists.

Muslim Public Affairs Council also defended Ahmadullah Niazi brother-in-law of Amin al-Haq (one of the people who brought Osama bin Laden from Sudan to Afghanistan, fought with him in Tora Bora in 2001 and was caught also fighting in Tora Bora in 2007). (cont.)

  • Ahmadullah Niazi traveled to Pakistan to meet with his brother-in-law, and later was caught trying to recruit an FBI informant to attack Orange County shopping centers, military installations and court buildings, telling him that it was his "duty to engage in violent jihad."

Its joint statement with North American Muslim Organizations Concerning "Gaza-Jericho Agreement" (Dec. 17, 1993) calls in essence for destroying Israel.

    (cont.)

  • Director and co-founder of Muslim Public Affairs Council Salam Al-Marayati regularly praises Hezbollah as "freedom fighters." He defended Roger Garaudy when he was fined by the French government for declaring that the Holocaust was a hoax. Demanded the extradition of those who shot Muhammad Hamida a Palestinian who intentionally drove his car into a crowded bus stop in Jerusalem, killing one and injuring 23 - to America "to be tried in a U.S. court" on terrorism charges." (cont.)

  • He claims the Jews were responsible for the 9/11 attack. He welcomed the "Sbarro" attack in Jerusalem, likened supporters of Israel to Hitler and the writings of former Prime Minister Netanyahu to Hitlers Mein Kampf. He also said, "We dont believe theres such a term as 'Islamic terrorism.'" (May 15, 2007 speech as part of a Council on Foreign Relations conference call)

The other co-founder and Senior Advisor of Muslim Public Affairs Council is Maher Hathout, (cont.)

  • who in 2000 assailed the government's prosecution of defendants charged in a Hezbollah financing case in North Carolina (the defendants were convicted in 2002 of laundering money and providing material support for to Hezbollah).. In 2003 he defended Sami Al Arian (high-level member of Islamic Jihad, now in jail) and hinted that then-Attorney General John Ashcroft brought charges against Arian to suppress political dissent.

    (cont.)

  • Among the organizations Aslam Abdullah mentions, he is a vice-chairman of the two (no wonder they supported him). The third one, Islamic Society of North America, is a front for Muslim Brotherhood and is dominated and controlled by the wealthy Saudis

Sounds like Aslam Abdullah is not into protecting America from terror, but into protecting terrorists from American justice, (cont.)

  • and that his open letter was just one more ruse to get on this program and tell us how moderate and anti-terror every Muslim is, so that we go back to sleep.

Shame on Glenn Back for not checking his "good guys."

  • can somebody tell all this shit to system of a down.

    as cool as they are

  • the sunnis in iraq spoke out against al-quaeda and they started getting blown up.

bhutto stood against al-quaeda and she was assasinated.

Masud stood against the taliban and was assasinated.

the problem is not that Muslims are weak against extremists but rather that if they make a statement against them without an army to support them they are attacked.

  • its retards like this dude that interpret beliefs the way they like. If i say Barrack Obama studied in a MARDRASA... ppl assume it's a terrorist camp, even though it is literally translated to the word SCHOOL. Mercy on these retards. One day, maybe they see the light. Bending over backwards and sticking their heads where the sun don't shine isn't really the 'straight' way of living

  • instead of going hey i got a funny name the rights ganna spin it to mean something it aint

obama should admit that there preaching what there preaching.

then again he did not admit what there saying at trinity church eaither.

wether its chem wepons or global warming

they are not fooling people who know better.

  • You shall stone him to death, because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. And all Israel, hearing of this, shall fear and never do such evil as this in your midst. (Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB)

  • hating Jews and Christians is embedded in the Quran and Suna??? That is not true you have to look at time and context and what was going on to muslims during that time that verse was said and how it applys to today most verses are history lessons on islamic history when muslims were defending them self from being killed it was war time and some verses did apply as such but they have to be taken in context most dont apply today

  • Horse shit

    google

Fighting the Jews and Christians is legislated because They are Idolators and Disbelievers

  • This guy is a good Muslim..but the problem is sir, dr abdallah that those things like hating Jews and Christians is embedded in the Quran and Sunnah...How do you stop the wahabiis if thats the verses they focus on?

  • The bible has similar problems, and used by extremists like the KKK to justify thier actions. The biggest problem is extremists, regardless thier faith.

  • I think you are really setting up a blind eye against trends, generalizations, practice, and most of all commandments from certain religions. There are HUGE differences between different faiths. Islam is VERY different from other religions especially in the regard of fanaticism as if it was fundamental to the faith.

  • They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)
