Wow... I used to live with a navajo wife in Shiprock. I'd sit on her porch at night. And it would be dark and dead silent. Coming from Mescalero, I don't believe in their ways. But one thing I DO know, whenever I stared out in the darkness, I could feel, something staring back. The Navajo are a good people. Well, I'm part Navajo & Mexican. And this is true you're not suppose to pick up people at night. Even old looking people. My parents also pick this old lady up somewhere in New Mexico. She was in a pendleton blanket and my dad said you're not suppose pick them up. My parents had like "bad luck" if you will, after that. Scary shit. This is true somewhat. Just BAD acting.
