Sade once had the cheek to send me a postcard suggesting that she would have given a credit to me for Smooth Operator if I was a genuine writer. Yet she never wrote any part of Smooth Operator in the first place? But got 50% anyway as she was the singer and had the recording contract? Cheek of the devil:) Bless her cotton socks........but not white ones.

@PaulCookeMusic It sounds like you were not given whats do . I am a loyal fan of Sade and think she has a great voice and the looks to follow. But as Mark Zuckerburgs facebook is quoted as saying.

strange how she look so human beautifull ,and finally as I understand she have a manipulative personality and as I understand the all band lie saying that you have nothing to do in writing the songs of the first album I love the songs of the first album so much I have the vinyl album from the 80 and they mention your name as a drumer to thank as Dave Early it's realy a shame and people have to know that, where is morality?

ok... what songs did Sade (Helen) actually write on Diamond Life and Promise?

To take 50% of royalties from a song (Smooth Operater), that she didn't write is out of order... as much as I like the groups music, I don't actually think that's fair, because songs from those two albums stated above are still played on commecial radio today.

In response to making it big i did, in 1982-3 i formed Sade:) I then recorded the songs we had created for the band and the album became famous, i recived a triple platinum disc from the BPI. I also played more than once on TOTPS with the band i formed and played the song i had worked on with the band to millions of people via TV. After that I pursued various musical careers and worked on an incredible amount of music projects sometimes with other famous muscians such as the band Madness et al

I agree with you on the problem part, i do have one in-regards to my moral rights and intellectual rights related to my work with Sade in 82-83-84. We had formed the partnership and all our money from gigs paid for the studio and paid to promote the band to record companies. We where the band and had our musicians? including the singer we chose eg: Ms Adu from Pride.

I thought this is TOTP, but it's not? I've seen short footage from Sade's first appearance on TOTP, which was shown on VH1 biography in 2000, where Adu was in the same dress as the Your Love Is King 7"/12" covers (NOT showing her shoulders) . This one is a bit different. Could you tell me what show this is? Thanks in advance.
