Thats why FO NV turned out much better than FO 3 and it even has a lot of material referencing ''Wasteland'' the game before FO1. So things came full circle in NV FO. I really enjoyed the game overall. In hindsight, I really have no complaints because I never expected to be able to enjoy the newer games, that goes along with most of the first fans. I do have some minor complaints about continuity in FO3 and NV but I'll leave it at that. I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't played FO1 and 2, Do it.

I've played since FO1, back when me and the rest of the fans thought we'd never get a Fallout 3 or anything related when interplay went under and the rights were sold to Bethesda and nothing happened for many years. It's a real shame Interplay didn't have the support it needed to create the newer games itself. FO3 was long awaited and certainly better nothing but it was everything ''cool'' it lacked the real soul of the game alot of us enjoy. FO NV had many staff from FO1 & 2 games.

To be honest. The end after speaking to Yes Man was slightly disappointing. It seems to leave the game open for play after or some other add on they planned but it was never implimented and I refuse to believe the game couldn't be altered to play after the ending. It was just a refusal to do it on the part of the makers. Overall the game was far better than nothing and even though the old Fallout references were jumbled together I enjoyed it. I've played the series since FO1,

Endgame on my lvl 30 profile, I had 60,000+ caps, YCS/186, Remnants power armor, and 100 speech and lock pick. I also one-shotted Legate Lanius. What i basically did was just found a pulse gun and made the Brotherhood's night patrols into cap whores. Sell their stuff at Gun Runners and viola. I can finally afford to fix my Tesla-Beaton prototype!
