usually you have to throw the grenade against a hard suface, u can't lob it throw it like a baseball, and there is a better chance it will go off.

how it works is knida like a real grenade, you pull the pin a nail is activated by a spring,in which the nail hits the .22 makes it pop(the .22 is surrounded in the paint) and it explodes
