  • can someone tell me, what song this is? 0:36 ??

  • Amazing movie, but I have to say The Prophet is even better...but they are both fantastic

  • People have the right to remake movies and its not always a bad thing as long as it owes up and satisfies like "The Beat that my Heart Skipped", although i'd have to say remaking in general pisses more people off especially when they do a horrible job!

  • @1MriC1 However Rob Zombies Halloween? yes another remake, but more of re-creaction considering he has respect for the original and most likely do a better job than someone unknown. He gave it more of a story. I enjoyed it more than the original however ultimately is inferior to the original, but there are some exceptions out there where the remake IS better.

  • @BryanDeAugust Oh sorry I didn't read your 2nd post before answering. So in the end, you think The beat that my hear skipped is better than Fingers but inevitably inferior just because it's a remake ? I'm not sure I fully understand your opinion here. Nice exchanging point of views anyways. Cheerz

  • Everyone knows it's a remake, genius. Duris' performance and the film are great, regardless of the fact.

  • @BryanDeAugust

Personally I preferred the French version. I just watched Fingers yesterday and I thought the movie was outdated and not as smart as the french version.

Yes I am French, but mind you, I'm not saying that The Beat that my Heart Skipped is better, just that I preferred it, maybe because I'm more inclined to this genre. I thought the french version was spookier and finer in showing people reaction and position in the society work/passion etc.

  • @1MriC1 Outdated? of coarse. Thats the sad truth about Movies these days and remaking films that are unnesesary like Friday the 13th was a retarded excuse for a remake.

  • @BryanDeAugust So, do you mean that this remake wasn't necessary either? Indeed it wasn't. However I still think that remaking films isn't a bad thing as long as the director has something new to add to the initial film or rather use the initial story to make a completely different movie, with different point of view, atmosphere etc. That's what most directors fail at when attempting to do a remake. However, I strongly believe that The beat that my heart skipped is a good remake and movie.

  • one of the films ive seen out of france alongside irreversible, le bossu and many others.

  • What is the name of the song who begin at 1:15? thanks. Quel est le nom de la chanson qui commence a 1: 15 merci.
