  • Wow, thanks for uploading this vid. I believe I saw it for the first time at the BBC, but never saw it since. The guitar part with the lyrics, well, the song actually, has never let go of me and I played it several times myself. It's ofcourse better to see the master operate. It's realy nice... Thanks again.

  • This is the first time Yoko actually made something better. Her singing in this is nice. So happy she didn't ruin it with random cackling.

  • if im not wrong the beatles always had their guitar tuned alittle flat then standard, am i correct i believe so because when i play along to a beatles tune i tune it alittle lfatter and it sounds perfect

  • this video has inspired me to write music, thankyou John <3

  • at the end he actually playsthe EM7 EM6 riff from Julia...

  • @JohnyLennon16

The entire clip is a derivative Julia, but it is being played with the capo on the fourth fret as opposed to the second.

  • everybody had a hard year, everybody had a good time, everybody......... it's so great!. from imagine dvd?, i don't know, but, this is great

  • had a crappy day and this was thing to make me smile. and people wonder why i call john lennon my hero.

  • Are you sure that info is right? As far as I know, Watching Rainbows was just a random jam during the Get Back sessions, long after I've Got A Feeling esisted.

  • Yes.

The main riff from I've Got A Feeling was from the song Watching Rainbows. I've Got A Feeling is a mashup of two songs: Watching Rainbows and I've Got A Feeling. John and Paul both couldn't finish the songs so they combined them together into one song.

  • I never knew that. Where did you find that out? I'd love to find any 1968 demo of Watching Rainbows. The only version I've heard is the 1969 Get Back version.

  • sounds kinda like his song "julia"

  • nvm, just read the description

  • Surpise Surpise

  • NeilFraudstrong continues to kick ass - thanks for this :-)
