My boyfriend took me on this ride on Oct 16 2011 and I didn't tell him I was scared of heights and it scared the shit out of me... I shock for a good hour after I was off of it.... I found the close's bar and had to have a drink... OMG but the view was amazing...
Sure it is the highest if we count from the ground:) However, in stockholm there is a freefall power tower with tilt, it's 263 feet which I think is the highest with tilt:) However, las vegas rocks!:D
I went on this yesterday, and this was my first ever ride on a launch tower. Second tower ride in general if you include the one in Silverwood that raises you slowly and drops you fast (only once)!
Cedar point's Power Tower is much bigger for the ride itself, but putting this shorter tower on top of the Statosphere tower is what makes it crazy scary. NOTHING will prepare you for how fast it shoots you up when you are on this ride. It's a rush!!
