I have the same razor too! After using the Coolskin for a while (with the lotion cartridge thingies in the back) It was time for a new one. There wasn't much to choose between head shavers that looked very promising. Although i had my eye on this HS8420 i thought the blades looked quite "fragile" compared to other razors, but it isn't. I'm glad i got this one and think it's the best! What i don't like is the noise that got louder and higher after a while (?)

I bought the same shaver and had exactly the same two thoughts: very sexual, I won't buy the conditioner... I haven't yet got the perfect shave you talk about though... I might try in the shower :) cool video man

@AericWinter yea its fiddly turn clock wise to remove comb and anticlockwise to tighten i didnt know this my previous razor head lasted a good 3 yrs i thought you just run it under the tap to clean i was wrong , i wouldnt go past this razor and hope to upgrade to the quick charging one next .

I have a Remington cordless and it takes little packets that go in the back . You press a button on the top to dispense the lotion while shaving. It is waterproof so you can even shave in the shower.

Nasenhaare sind schon ein Kreuz. Da kam bisher der beste Wilkinson-Trimmer nicht richtig hin, ohne mich in die Nase zu zwicken.

Ich bevorzuge die Nassrasur: Das Gesicht ist Glatt wie ein Babypopo. Und wer sich bei der neusten Nassrarsierer-Generation noch immer schneidet, muss wohl ein echter Tollpatsch sein.

Wovon ich allderings komplett abraten kann, ist der Gillette Fusion POWER. Das blöde vibrieren hat meiner Meinung nach absolut keinen spürbaren Einfluss auf das Rasurergebnis.

The razor people probably figured why should the printer companies get all the expensive refill action? I'm surprised it actually works though - I'd always imagined it'd leave your face all slimy. Does it need to be washed off after?

Oh yes, usage leaves quite a mess of conditioner mixed with bits of shaved hair on your face. Definitely needs to be washed off. Maybe that's why "Richards" made the razor waterproof and recommends using while showering.

P.S. The struggle to find the proper word for the, uh proboscis, was unplanned. For precious seconds, I literally couldn't think of anything that didn't sound dodgy. You can't fake that, so I left it in.

I've never tried shaving conditioner, but it does work well. My biggest fear is the conditioner clogs the shaver after a few weeks of use.

I'm not a fan of electric shavers, but when they work they work! It's just the last electric shaver I had had it's charging station die after a few weeks of use. I contacted the company on it and they told me it may be because I had it by the sink and in a room with a shower. Excuse me if that bathroom product shouldn't be stored in a bathroom! lol
