  • It looks like a Stirling solar engine

  • nice stirling motor :)

  • I don't know, therefore aliens.

  • WOW they are so slow we will ALL see them huh lmfao

  • Fun Gizmo! This is a sterling engine. It works by alternately heating and cooling air. When the air is hot, it expands and pushes on a piston. When the air cools, it shrinks in pulling the piston back. Sunlight heats the top, but the bottom is cooler. A Styrofoam piece moves up and down insulating the air from the hot side at one instant and from the cold side the next, thus causing the air continually heat and cool. Look close, and you should see the rod that raises and lowers the foam.

  • @Mykrolian1 Thanks for the analysis from someone who obviously has a good understanding of this technology!

  • @Hallaran Thank you. I suspect we both have a love of engines. This one is really fun to watch. I've seen the design, but never this large. Someone put a lot of effort into this. It would be a great piece for a science museum.

  • @Mykrolian1 Yes I think we do. Having Youtube (and even more subscribers like you) make it all worthwhile to me. Thanks for stopping by!

  • This is a stupid idea to go......UFO's don't work with pistons and internal combustion engines.....haaa

  • @BlediG1 Yeah I guess not....

  • @BlediG1 Oh, and the Aether was disproved by Albert Einstein (general relativity)...

  • its just a sterling engine whoopie! where have you been?

  • @eli5771 Got ya!

  • Nice channel. Thanks for the subscribe.

I subscribed back; This Poem is for You:

    MAGNITUDE

The stars tonight are for your eyes.

Yes, for no one else except you in this moment.

In this moment, dizzy, crazy, mad, heavenly mad.

Stay in touch! All the best.

    Cordially,

    BK Bazhe

  • @BAZHE Thanks I wish I had your talent for words!

  • A very interesting video, a engine running without fuel!!! When did theses aliens land and who did they trade this here engine with and what fer?

  • @DocHoliday1882 Perhaps some plutonium fuel...

  • It is clearly a Stirling engine running on heat!

  • @NETWizzJbirk The largest one I have seen yet...

  • Penis pump

  • It's a LTD Stirling engine. I've never seen one this big. I have a similar one I built, that sits on my table

  • es ist rund, es ist ein UFO!!! pffff....

  • its a stirling engine....it runs on hot and cold air

  • The thing you are filming with doesn't have a gastank either, aether energy powered as well? ;p

  • You are likely confused because the sign is facing the other way, Copernicus!

  • Es un motor sterling ¡¡¡¡

  • I want one!

  • Lol! Americans know nothing about renewable energy sources.

"I don't see no gas anywhere to power this thing. OMG, it must be a UFO!"

My parents' house is mostly heated by an Air-source heat pump which uses about 20% of the electricity of traditional electric element heating, and the other 80% comes from the air.

Yes, it looks like a Sterling engine to me. I see a quarter phase difference between the pistons and the "wafer", characteristic of a Sterling engine.

  • @iHateAdobeFlash Americans?? I think what you mean is "some humans". Assuming that everyone born in a certain part of the world is stupid or unintelligent, automatically lumps you into the group of people you are talking about. WELCOME TO EARTH! Dumb people are born everyday, EVERYWHERE, and if you try to tell me that there aren't any where you live, then you, sir, are a liar. You'd do better to think it through before you say these things. Have a nice day :)

  • @iHateAdobeFlash Just a little humor my friend - that is all...

  • low temperature sterling motor that runs on temperature f\diferences.

  • Stirling engine?

  • es un gaylord stirling engine, que tiene que ver con un UFO?

  • Don't know what's running the device however it looks like Burger King is powering some of the on lookers did you see the tummies of the two guys near the end of the video?

  • If he's so confused he should walk over to the sign in the background of the shot... it probably says "Sterling Engine" with some details... =D

  • LOLOLOLOL. I see that there was a description on an easel right next to it. Would it have been so hard to read that?

  • Solar heat powered sterling engine.

  • simulates a geothermal power generator.

  • The wheel is uset as a flywheel as you can find on all kind of engines! :)

  • It's a sterling engine. A type of engine that a lot of submarines using. All you need i Warm and Cold to run this engine... The big plate is to catsh the heat.. And the cylinder on the top is to make it cold agen..

  • It's a heat engine known as a sterling engine.

  • this is a sterling engine.

  • not seen a sterling engine this big before but that is what it is 100%

  • ну и что она делает?я думал взлетит или ещё что то

  • Lol grrr... I think it was Arthur C Clark that said... Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. It seems now days instead of throwing up our arms and running around screeming witch and magic we first assume alien technology... Lol we truly have just started to walk up right :)

  • cute LTD sterling engine, but the title needs fixing.

  • That's a stirling engine.

  • Momentum

    get a life

  • ITS A STERLING ENGINE DAMNIT! That thing has a worse mass-to-energy coefficient than a 19th century steam tractor. At least you didn't waste hours on Photoshop trying to perfect your lie.

P.S. that engine wouldn't produce %^&* in the cold vaccume of space

  • this is just a Stirling Engine man... Wikipedia would explain you a lot about the science around it... not mystic energy here, sorry.

  • its a sterling engine type, it runs off of heat

  • Must have LOTS of time & money to waste!

  • Its a bad free energy concept and will fail with abrasive ingestion.

  • now everybody knows......flying saucers are powered by Stirling motors ! ARE YOU CRAZY ??

  • I don't understand therefore, aliens

  • @hallaran

    LOL!!!!

That stirling engine convinces YOU that aliens came here and gave us technology?! The engine was invented a hudred years ago.

  • stirling engine bro...

  • lol i cant find the carburetor

  • Very good work! I liked this stirling engine, why not to use a lens or parabolic reflective. We also intend to do an engine similar to yours. Thanks for the idea.

  • Lol... Thermal expansion Stirling engine..

  • SOLAR numbnuts

  • soso is ja lustig

  • @LenaLoreneik851 Danke! Haben Sie einen großen Tag!

  • FYI: -Yes, it is merely a thermal-expansion Stirling-engine..!!

  • Solar power

  • @bTsIceMan Same principles.

The energy comes from the Sun. The top is black so absorbs the heat.

So air expands in the heat, pushing pistons up

Pistons push the wheel round via a rod

Wheel connected via another rod pulls the displacer up

Air is moved to bottom, so cools and contracts, pulling pistons down

Pistons pull on wheel, continuing the rotation

Wheel pushes the displacer back down.

Air moves to top again, and so on.

  • @TheBoothy666 Excellent - thanks!

  • na bin aus hamburg

  • >Lrn2physics.

  • stirling engine Ive never seen one that big. Ive seen them made for coffie cups

  • stirling engine

  • its solar powered stirling engine

  • aover sized stirling engine ... thermodynamics . Closed heat cycle engine

  • Looks like some kind of sterling

  • I really doubt this will be flying anything, anytime soon...

  • ...or, he could have taken a shot of the placard sitting on the easle right in front of this mysterious device. That probably would have answered the question of what this is for all of us!

I'm pretty sure it said solar powered sterling engine. :p

  • That's the absolute biggest low temperature differential stirling engine I've ever seen. It's just not designed very well. Two pistons? That's part of the problem, because they both share the same displacement area. That just adds friction, and LTD's need to be friction less.

  • stop being so stupid. a useless pump

  • Stirling motor.

  • This thing looks like to be a solar sterling engine.

  • Now you need is a giant coffee cup to put that Sterling engine on top of and we would have one of the 7 wonders of the world. :D

  • Sterling engine - plenty of them on youtube. "big wafer thing" is a displacer. It's running on heat

  • why there are so many folks who dont like this ?

  • Well americans cant invent anything... Like "nazi super/secret weapons" All of them in use by USA today hahah.. Copied about all of them.........

  • LOL... this is just a sterling engine which was invented 100 years ago. Do a search on youtube and you'll find all sorts of them including ones you can build yourself.

  • Stirling engine runs on temperature change

  • sterling engine

  • @bustfer07 Yes a Stirling engine!

  • @bustfer07 Yes, some have called it an atmospheric engine also.

  • @bustfer07 i agree

  • soooooooooooooooooooooo, what is that again?hmmm, maybe stick a chick doll hand on the rod, and we are talking about automatic good times!

  • Its a Stirling engine

  • @Hallaran I wasn't negative, it was actually a humorous statement created from comparing this video to some of the ignorant comments I usually see on Youtube.

  • @ZarHakkarV555 Whoops my bad! I'll take that comment off! Sorry!

  • @ZarHakkarV555 Sorry I will delete THAT asap - have a great evening!

  • @bTsIceMan It is one of the strangest engines/contraptions I have ever seen IMO....

  • I think some folks just want to pick on me and my videos... (Sniff) Come on and start sharing some love!

  • Ah, the power of ignorance never stops to amaze me...

  • its just a big Stirling engine

  • @corbonzo1

exactly, I bet if there are aliens that has technologies that can travel to earth, these kind of engine will just b toys to them.

  • Lol stirling it runs on temperature difference hot vs cold

  • stirling engine

  • @xsnut1 yup sure is~!! and in good light\heat too. ;)

  • BTW, what does the sign beside the sterling engine say? Maybe: "This is a sterling engine that runs on temperature differences...there is no carburator!" I guess he was to busy filming and forgot to just read the sign.

  • This is a Stirling engine!!!! Very simple engine that uses temperature differences to pump. It is very impractical for anything other then an interesting model a shows or make a small one to put over your coffee cup to amaze friends when they come to visit.

  • This is really just a small stirling engine, except that it is pretty large.

  • Stirling Engine Bud, Look it up lol Its powered by heat. I'm in the process of Making one

  • @14omega28ok or cold.

  • @gizmo664100 I don't think they have any that run on cold, I think adding ice to the top of the "Piston" thing makes it run longer or faster or something. Hell Idk haha. Maybe you're right

  • в пиндостане что не сделают - всё равно электрический стул получается

  • This is just a small Stirling engine run by worm air. Anyone can make these engines and run with ice or a worm cup of coffee

  • @ghazikhan101 Worm cup of coffee?

  • @Hallaran you never had worm air or worm coffee?..ur missin out bro...mmmmm wormy,,,he meant to say warm im sure...or did he?,,the mystery much like my gf' vagina deepens,or is it thickens?,,the world may never know...jk,,my gf broke up with me after i cut her butt with a razer,,,the slasher, hahahaha,,jk

  • @Hallaran

    lol

  • @Hallaran WARM

  • @Hallaran Earthworm coffee is the best.

  • It works whit the heat of te sun

  • Oh, that is NOT where I left it...

  • Hallaran i must say that "MY GOD" do you really have no idea what is that thing????!!! Its a stirling engine my american friend :/

  • ohh my god... stirling? gosh people aren't quite smart are they i mean really you look for a gas tank? sigh

  • it's stirling engine.

  • Passive heat Sterling engine

  • Stirling engine

  • Nice object, stupid comment.-

  • Stirling Engine not ufo

  • that is a stirling engine; they are powered by heat and differences in air pressure. it is running off of the sun in this video.

  • looks like a pump

  • and if you were wondering, this is how an idiot's voice sounds like...sorry for bad english

  • its a solar sterling engine. Heated air from the sun is powering the motor DUH! :0)

  • It's a stirling engine. It runs on heat.

  • its a solar motor

  • TONY STARK WAS ABLE TO BUILD THIS

    INSIDE

    A CAVE!!!!

  • Uuuu eeeee ist super dildo=))))

  • you can put two dildos and make a double penetration gadget for ur gf...

  • a solar sterling engine, that from above forces air in a cooler section below, thats why it is so slow, candle heat or fire makes it run mutch faster, but the chambers are reversed for that.

  • just a termal motor

  • its a sun powered LTD (low temperature differends) stirling eninge it works with expanding and contracting air. i hope this awnsers your question =)

    bye=)

  • heat engine

  • Looks a lot like a Stirling Engine.

  • AIR PRESSURE

  • Thats just a sterling engine.... OOOOOLD invention.

  • Poppycock

  • U can see the pendulum on the top

  • It looks like a stirling engine heat powered, ancient tech from the 1800s, only recently made possible by advanced materials,

  • I like hydrogen anybody have a problem with hydrogen? If you say Hindenburg Zeppelin than allow me to sight the trillions of dollars & millions of lives spent or lost due to fossil fuels so I can ask again “does anyone have a problem with hydrogen”?

  • Just a big SOLAR powered Stirling engine.. Google it..

  • sterling engine

  • I know everyone already said so but, it's a Stirling engine.

  • this is exactly why people all go ohhh! ahhh! its amazing! total educational ignorance, and its sad, because some of these idiots are so passionate about it,that they want to believe it, and will defend it vigorously, whereas we with at least a little education know it to be a simple sterling engine that is probably what? over a hundred years old now? or there abouts? difference in temperature /expansion/contraction of gases....wow...mind blowing....NOT

  • It's called a STERLING ENGINE. It gets it's energy from the surrounding air (heat). Ice applied to the top would probably make it go faster.

  • stirling engine...... google it

  • it is only a STIRLING............ha ha........

  • LOOKS CRUDE.

  • True that Fusion1967 Just a stirling engine, it runs on the heat difference!!

  • It's just a Stirling engine.

  • I-know exactly what it is & what it's used for...

It's an automated button pusher & was developed for lifers at Langley who found their minds were progressively turning to mush to such a critical 32nd degree they could no longer even push buttons to flush toilets or turn light switches on & off or even press the buttons in the lift so now everywhere you go in Langley one of those perpetual motion machines is there flushing toilets turning lights on & off & pressing floor buttons in the lift...

  • Oprah diaphran

  • stirling engine

  • This is a scotish invention, meet the Sterling Engine, most use a hot object underneath as an energy source, this one is inverted uses air heated by the black panel on the top.....

  • thats a nice design who made it?

  • Solar sterling engine

  • nice microwave

  • Stirling Engine!!!! Runs on hot air so should do well in the USA.

  • It's a low temperature differential stirling engine. I bet the black surface on the top is pretty warm eh? The output is mild.

  • I bet that cant charge your phone. Kinda big huh? I think i stick with killing the planet for now if this is all we can come up with. Magnetic motors look good.

  • @viroware Yes at least we have improved in that area of technology. There is a neat website I go to look at those items named "United Nuclear", it is owned by a fellow named Bob Lazar who is another interesting topic. Thanks for stopping by!
