Wow, first time watching you tricked me into thinking it was all a 3D render, and being a 3D artist myself, that's quite an accomplishment to trick me :D

How did you create the 3D feel for the first scene as well as the hallway at 0:17, as well as 0:32 and 0:37? I know it can be achieved in 3D software via camera mapping method, but from your video I guess aftereffects can also do it in some way?

Very nice effects. I realize this is a /visual/ effects project, so I don't want to be too critical of the audio aspect, but GLaDOS's voice was a bit too choppy. I'm guessing you pieced it together from the various quotes from the game. I know how hard that is, so I admire your ambition, and you could only use what the game gave you to work with. As another commenter said, though, it might have been better to record your own audio and manipulate it. Still, the visuals were quite impressive! ^_^

@theoldduke27 Actually, I did. The audio was processed from AT&T's text-to-speech engine, then manipluated in Melodyne and post-processed in After Effects. No way I'd steal from the game, man! This was all 100% hand done!

@Joelgerlachfilms I stand corrected! Definitely a very cool technique. I must say that as an aspiring filmmaker myself, and avid gamer, this video was very inspiring. I'm still learning, but this is precisely the sort of stuff I want to do one day. Still have a long way to go before I can make something as awesome as this, though!

GLaDOS' voice is a little to light you should make it a little deeper i guess or get someone to talk in a straight voice then computerize it (thats how they actually made GLaDOS' voice in the real game)
