I approve of the music. It was done well (minus the slight EQ and volume issues that a previous poster mentioned), and if you want to listen to it without the music then you can find the clips elsewhere. Might as well make something new and creative, yeah? Maybe for first-time listeners it's not the best approach, but for people who have listened numerous time the music gives a new perspective. Lighten up folks. Life is music!

Show us YOUR contribution to humanity. In the meantime, I'd rather listen to a genius like Watts, not just this prose-clip out of context. His books and talks on death and dying in lieu of perception about death etc., amazingly compelling; insightful and comforting to so many who get stuck in the suffering.

to the people attempting to slander Alan Watts, he was not a drunken idiot or a douchebag. I don't understand why you want to spew absolutely fabricated accusations about him, unless you're just trolling. He was a brilliant and articulate man, whether you agree with what he said or not, and he was successful in explaining points of view to westerners who were so conditioned as to seem unreachable. Actually look at some of his work before you disrespect

I like your music, Brandon, but I feel it detracts from these recordings, and actually runs contrary to their Zen spirit. It's like smothering a delicious meal in hot sauce. I'm a musician, myself, and love music. But there's a time to just listen. I mean this in the most constructive sense possible, so please don't think I'm criticizing your creativity.
