I've never heard a more glaring example of personal frustrations, personal unhappiness, and self-contempt projected on to a political issue. You can hear it in her voice. It is almost tangible, and subverts her argument, which is weak in any case - she is mixing up causes with symptoms.

So when was the Ed Meese Commission on porn that played host to that hippopotamus Andrea Dworkin? 1986? Yessir, they were going to crack down and eradicate the smut. Weren't very successful were they? Ha ha.

She is the diametrical opposite of my room-mate. He loves porn and prostitution. What I find funny is that I think he's kind of a douche for being into it and I think Dworkin is a douche for being against it. They're a little like two sides of the same coin. Equally lame, but for differing reasons. And even with that I still understand where each is coming from and wish they'd have had better times.

Dude, humanity needs a crap load more hugs.
