I have the same strat but in a rosewood fretboard and it's hands down the best strat I've ever played. I can't knock it out of tune if I try and the pickups are dead silent. The thing I've always hated with traditional single coils is how noisey they are. These also get incredibly close to traditional single coil tones considering the N3's are a stacked humbucker.
guitar(there is a pun there ;) What is your final verdict on it? Looking for advice on what will hopefully be a future purchase of a new lifelong investment.
wow! Great playing, feel, everything. I read u sold your guitar :( What r u playing now? I am starting to save up 4 a strat. Thinking about this or an am. standard with some mods(Moving vol knob, or consolidating with a concentric vol, and 1st tone) Maybe even a wilk. trem and recess. If I could get this tone from a marshall and warm, jangly, sparkly, and even some spanky cleans from a fender this would be the only guitar I would need--other than an LP and a tele ;) After owning this
@jmibelltone lol, look at his review of the guitar. I was amazed when I saw this, but I did like how he showed everything about the guitar. This guy had his bases covered.
Hey great stuff! Have you ever played teh 2010 HSS version? Which do you think would be a better choice to use as a main guitar for blues, blues rock, Jazz, Classic rock, and rock type of playing?
Thank you! Quite simply I'm playing straight into a Marshall mg50. Filmed live with a canon hg 30 HD video camera. Most of my improv solos are played over various backing tracks that can be downloaded from the Internet. Most of the time I edit them with audacity.
WOW! Real great in sound and style! Please tell me: HOW did you make this high quality recording (soft-ware, cam, audio/video works, microphone, editing program etc.) Many Thanks!
So wats better. This or the fender American select hss?
