hey can u tell me if wiccans can use like this board thing and talk to the dead like 4 ex. their dead mom. like a board where u put two fingers on it and it writes letters or somthing? please respond.

U mean a ouija board? Lots of people use ouija boards, some wiccan, some not. But if ur gonna use one be careful, cos lots of people say bad things have happened with them, just depends who you listen to.

I have a wiccan friend who is teaching me to become wiccan and no I am not joining for stupid reasons like curses I am joining because I have contact with the dead and I want to learn to block out evil spirits and communicate with others all I can hear currently from spirits is a screeching sound does any one have tips for me

Well you dont cut with your athame (Other then a circle/sacred space) But this video over all was very good!

Well that's not entirely true. In most traditions it is a faux pas to cut anything with your athame, but some traditions do allow for it. In Seax-Wica the seax (athame) is used for mundane as well as magickal work. There are some in such paths who even use it for such things as stake knifes. I don't follow such traditions and don't use my athame for anything but ritual work.

excuse me for correcting you but u don't use your athame for cutting ANYTHING, it is used for directing energy. for that, you use your bolline(not only for cutting herbs). and never put your self down ur not stupid, lol, everybody makes mistakes.

I'm not pretending to be an expert on the wiccan religion, I've only just started studying, but isn't it his choice for what he uses it for? I see everywhere that if someone tells you you're doing something wrong, that person is wrong; it's a free religion.

That's not entirely true, it depends on one's tradition and personal sensibilities. The reason I feel people insist so often that you cannot use your athame to cut is they're afraid people will think we're harming people with it. As someone influenced by kitchen witchery, for example, it makes no sense to me to have a knife I can't use to cut things. It's a knife! But that's a personal issue.
