  • You made it easy for me to decide to buy this item. Great video. Thanks.

  • @peter47a thnx for the info mate - will contact you if more question occure (8

  • Please help me - I've read lot a lot of comments on this synth and one thing I still cant get:

    is it possible to SIMULTANEOUSLY use it as sound card ( by sending to speakers something from sequencer on laptop - beat, etc.) AND as a synth for playing separate melody, bass line, etc. ?? I need that kind of functioanality for gigs and key word is SIMULTANEOUSLY. Thanx in advance!

  • @roflmaotzetung that's funny! I was just testing this 2 days ago. Short answer it works. You can listen to any audio sending to the x-station and play along :) Just keep in mind your X-Station becomes the soundcard and you need to connect everything to the X-Station and not the PC. Cheers!

  • @peter47a oh thanx mate - i needed to confirm this one before the cash is payed for the synth (8

    I was afraid that i could only work as soundcard for laptop + midi controller + synth in recording mode, or synth in play mode, which is not what I need for gigs and would force me to buy one more external sound card (8

    Thanx once more! Cheerz!

  • @roflmaotzetung it's even more crazy! It will install an audio input aswell as an output device on windows. Plus a midi in/out device. With the X-Station you can

    * play back your computers audio

    * play the synth

    * record the synth's audio *and* midi data on your pc

    and all of it at the same time, just tested it. It's a crazy little box if you have further questions send me a message!

  • Hello i have a quick question, Can the Novation X-Station 25 be played without linking it to a computer or laptop, can it be played as a stand alone instrument??

    thank you

  • @getthegdilife the X-Station *is* a standalone Synthesizer. It's not plugged into any computer in my video.

  • @peter47a CHEERS thanks

  • Thanks for sharing these sounds. I've been wanting to hear some of what this thing can do. I'm sold. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

  • Very nice and powerful sounds, keep up the good work!

  • @Me5htar I did not make those sounds, I played through roughly 2000 sounds from various sources on the net and extracted the best. But still many hours of work ;)
