Well maybe the lyrics aren't so depressive. But when you listen to the melody, that makes it sound depressive. I think thats what most of the people mean when they say that it is depressive. Not dissing anyone :)
I really don't see a single depressive thought in this song... except maybe that you have someone you love and you're not together or something like that, but in that case it has nothing to do with the song.. I'm not dissing you or anything, but if you find this song depressive then you should really change your outlook on life. this one radiates pure happy and joyous love.
and I agree with the second statement, it's most definitely one of the best love songs out there, if not the best.
