@joem413 They didn't add in the deleted scenes. When episodes get syndicated, they sometimes cut out certain smaller scenes or gags, that were only broadcast in the original episodes.
@joemj413 Yeah actually when I started buying the dvd seasons, I noticed in many episodes little things that were never aired on TV, this being one of them. I like how they threw in the deleted scenes in the show, rather than have a separate section for them.
@jkeeton83@joemj413 those scenes actually were part of the original prime-time broadcasts, but they had to shorten every episode by 2 minutes when the show went into syndication (reruns). So you would have seen that patty and selma scene when the episode first aired, but not again until the DVDs came out.
@jkeeton83 I have a-lot of episodes taped off cable from like first broadcasts in the 80s (old ass commercials and all ahaha) , its both ways! There were some scenes aired on cable, not on the DVDs and scenes on the DVD's not on cable! its freaking weird!

the line and the show must have been a reference to or shot at the family matters steve urkel character who always said "did i do that?" to boisterous canned laughter
