hmmmm so much black shows are lacking an naacp dont get too upset with crap on tv now whats up lost ur directions an morals.you could use this show as lessons for all folks
As a child, I loved this program. It does not denegrate colored people, as claimed by the NAACP.Shame on CBS for their spinelessness in giving in to the network. Except for Kingfish, all the characters showed flawless integrety, a rarety even in most cultures.
I love that so many appreciate this show. Kingfish (George) really used poor diction but then many of the cast did not. The point was that this show as a trail-blazer for network television. The truth is that the poor diction was an exaggeration for comedy purposes. My family and I loved this, never missed it and it was a shame that some people thought this was insulting to the good people who weren't laughing at the show but with it. We were confident!
Absolutely great episode, perhaps the best, in one of the all-time great comedies. CBS needs to issue an official release of this great show. It is hardly more offensive than "Sanford and Son" or "Good Times."

Classic tv. Too bad some would categorize it as racist.

I love it! A&A rocks. Thanks so much for posting these classic episodes that will never be seen on tv. Kingfish and Mama make a perfect comedy pair.
