We sent a 57 body and had it dipped. I dont like that. it cost $2,500. it takes shit out behind panels you cant paint. like in between layers welded together. rust starts thear. I like your method better. its messy and sucks but if it was my car i would do it that way.Its not easy.I like sand blasting but you can never get that shit blown out all the way. I have seen a lot of people warp and fuck shit up. If its easy dont do it.

The best thing to do is strip it by hand, with airplane stripper or have is soda blasted.. never sand blast a car, and I agree with you 100 percent on the dipping... IT SUCKS>..... Thanks Pete
