Even the fastest accelerating porsche (0-60 2.84 seconds) would be left eating its dust. Oh, and around the top gear test track? Lamborghini Aventador in the 1:16's, porsche turbo s in the 1:22. So, yes, lamborghini are a blip on porsche's performance radar. a big red blip.

I VERY surprisingly ate some poor Porsche 997 (NON TURBO) alive on the highway a couple weeks ago in my BMW 335i. I came up to the guy at about 70 and purely to see just how bad he would beat me I got him to race and he could hardly keep up. I was putting car lengths on him like it was nothing. We went from 60, 70, and 80 up to about 135 and I took him every time. He put his window down at the end and I just told him I loved his car and he gave me a thumbs up and we went our separate ways.

LOL, the Porsche 911 turbo with PDK does 3.4 seconds at stock and 3.2 seconds with SportsChronoP. And these aren't even the exact numbers since Porsche is very conservative.

Also I'm talking about launching not just accelerating. Excellence mag did it, they turned LC, deactivated PSM while simultaneously stepping on the brake and acceleration at the same time, and achieved 2.6 seconds.
