Poor Lou. Coming from a Cardinals fan, this may sound traitor-ish, but I don't care. I loved Piniella, and this made me a little emotional myself. He was one of my favourite managers. He was a cool guy who knew what he was doing. And of course watching his rants were amusing, lol.
I'll miss him, and I hope he has a happy, healthy life outside baseball.

I was at the Cubs-Cards game on 7/24. It's an awesome time in the bleachers with the rivalry the two teams have. Awesome fans and great laughs. Peace.

They won the division the first 2 years and his first year they ran the table from the beginning of the year to the end of the year in first place. They even ended up with the best record in the national league by far and even had a better record then The Yankees. People forget because The Cubs turned back into The Cubs the last 2 seaons, but in 2007 they were the best team in baseball in the regular season.
