It's not an Artwoods original ! (even though their version was good) : it's a Chuck Jackson song from 1962 i think (written by Leiber Stoller).Good version too by the Phil Spector produced Checkmates.i really like Procol's version too.
Interesting version of an original sang by "The Artwoods"(later Deep Purple).Procol's Ninth was produced by Leiber-Stroller Productions and they sort of forced this song onto Procol. This version is very different than original,but is it my most favorite band ever -Procol Harum.
