Just adding that I did not mean my comment to be negative towards Elaine,I think she's a charming and enchanting performer despite her occasional "funny" faces:)

A thought on the "funny faces":she doesn't normally do this as much as in this concert,I've always been wondering about it myself, why she does it so much in this particular concert...But I personally think it may be due to insecurity;she never felt confident in concerts where she had to be herself and not in character, and that can sometimes make one "overdo" something or make a lot of faces or twitching etc...Just a thought:)

I think the reason for her pulling faces is because when she sings a song in a musical there is a director over seeing acting including facial expressions. With a concert performance it's very much left to the artist to decide how they will portray feeling in the song. But I may be wrong.
