looks like the officer responded to a call, however ridiculous it may be, and checked to make sure he was supposed to be there, and then let him go. i hope next time he falls asleep and gets his laptop stolen.
Name David, 21, Junior UMD student. Harassed by the cops, at 5:30 am Wednesday December 15, 2010, 2 and a half hours before my last final for fall semester 2010, for sleeping.
He was given a verbal warning and was told if he fell asleep again that he could be kicked out of the library. Honestly its not really the cop that is the problem it its the library attendant she was just power tripping like always
College towns around the country stay afloat by exploiting the transient population of young people for as much money as possible. I'm surprised this guy didn't get fined for a disorderly conduct.
