Arvin, you're such a blessing. Thank you for reminding me of this song from my childhood in Kentucky. I've never heard this arrangement but I like it. My brother and I sang this at a family reunion years ago and I still remember it. I'd personally rather kick it up a notch with a faster tempo and some banjo but that's just me. Holler atcha boy.
My Mom passed away last March and she taught me to sing this song with her from the time I was very little.. We performed it at several church services and revivals with her singing alto and me doing harmony. She used to sing harmony with two of her sisters when they were younger. I know she's waiting for me in her mansion...Love you, mom. We don't say goodbye,we say see you later.
