The group is PSAPP. I haven't looked for them yet. I wrote ansaro65. I too saw this movie on TV in the 1960's. Now I've finally seen it again! It may have been one of the earliest prompters of my reading so much Jules Verne.

My odd teen friend and I were such Vernophiles that we dressed in 19th century costumes and made fake dials and instruments to put on our bedroom walls (Just like Nemo had in his room to monitor the ship). Were we forcastings of Steampunk?

Watch it with its Czech title Vynalez Zkazy on You Tube. You`ll hear the great original soundtrack. The complete film is bosted. I think it is in 8 segments, Dialogue is Czech, but you`ll understand the story.

All movies by Karel Zeman are absolute masterpieces, and use also impressive and inspired original music. What a pity that you did not use the original soudtrack... the music that you used is not so bad but still much less interesting than the original. Anyway, thanks you for sharing.
