fuck that ending got to me, the man gave his life to pro-wrestling (literally) and was the most humble man I've ever met, when he started NOAH he wanted to create the ideal form of wrestling (Kobashi said so) and he damn sure did just that. Misawa was one of a kind to say the least, one in a million, and there can never be another like him... RIP Misawa Mitsuharu
on behalf of your Iranian fans misawa rest in peace your shocking news touched your fans hearts not in the ring not at that age we miss you misawa misawa

I wept a lil watching this. Even at their ages, it seems that Misawa and Hashimoto both were still needed in the world. But they both lived meaningful lives and gave sooo much to us that sometimes you can take that for granted. I just feel that they were gone too soon..but R.I.P.
OMG! I'm deeply hurt by this. Man, its a shame all the TRUE wrestling stars are over shadowed by some of the nonsense in story lined wrestling. Forgive me for stating this but, AT LEAST THE MAN PASSED ON DOING THE THING HE LOVED TO DO. This was another loss in pro wrestling and people I idolize. GOD BLESS THE RING!!!!
Incredible, I haven't seen that many of his matches, this gives me a hint of what I've missed. Misawa could do it all: Mat wrestling, chain wrestling, aerial attack, brawling, striking. A match between him and Kurt Angle or Bret the Hitman Hart would have been a Dream Match. Is it possible that All Japan Pro Wrestling., Pro wrestling NOHA and GHC will bring out a DVD Set and make it available for purchase in the United States?
Really! Does All Japan or Pro Wrestling NOAH Have that match on DVD? I'm a huge Bret Hart Fan. I got him to autograph 2 copies of his book at the National Press Club in Washington, DC last fall.
It was around 1990/1991 at a WWF/All-Japan Supershow. Bret wrestled Tiger Mask II, Hogan fought Stan Hansen, Baba & Andre teamed up against Demolition. It was a decent card. Ultimate Warrior was definitely the champion at the time event took place, he squashed Ted Dibiase on the same card.
@kyotanahashi I now need to buy this dvd region 2 or not its worth the purchase if im getting a crap lod of his best matches and hopefully they do show all his christmas specials and Santa Misawa stuff also stuff like that showed how great of a man he really was outside the ring and how much of a comedian he was also
@RedKnightTheGreat I don't know. I go to Dragon Gate USA Shows and Ring of Honor Shows and have shows that I will be going to in June and July. I don't know if I will be able to buy and Mitsuharu Misawa DVD's at those shows.
dam that last part with the piano entrance really made me cry =[ RIP Misawa...hope your in heaven throwing elbows at angels :) you will truly be missed
I have only seen clips of Misawa's matches, and at this moment I would really love to see some of them in his prime cause he looked like a stiff S.O.B that didn't know the meaning of the word "pain" at all.
this was one of the darkest days in wrestling history. the loss of misawa cant even be judged, and i feel extremely bad for saito he must be crushed by this...RIP misawa ;(....
Saito didn't mean to cause this to happen. I sure feel bad if people accused him of "killing" misawa with the Death Landing high angle belly to back suplex...
you cant really allot of ppl are seeing NOAH go completly in the red because some ppl wotn work with Saito and the fans will blame him even though it could have happened 5 years ago and it could have happened the next night with anyone
This guy died taking dangerous a dangerous move. Heck he took a lot of dangerous moves in his career. He died for a sport that needed people like him to revitalize it. When it's up to a wrestler to take a backdrop, or a piledriver they know what's at stake and they still do it. It's what makes them wrestlers. You say we're trying to save our talents. I say "what talent?" These guys sacrifice themselves for us and WWE or TNA pussy out. Fine, I'll stick to wrestling.
i know a lot of wrestling fans dont what a impact this man had in the wrestling world. How a lot of there favorite wrestlers uses his moves and are influenced by him. I know a lot of my favorites are. Its a sad loss indeed.
He still lives in the hearts of every real wrestling fans (that knows more than only WWE or TNA) around the world.
Misawa has gone to a better place, but he leave to us his legacy and his legend it's still alive.
Arigato Misawa for all the memories, for all the 5 star matches and for pro-wrestling NOAH, may you meet another wrestling legends like Baba, Rikkidozan, Eddie Guerrero, Tsuruta, Mr.Perfect or El Santo (The first one) were you're going.
Probably the saddest moment in my life. When i'll get the chance to go to Japan, i want to put flowers and pray for him near his grave. Misawa, you were a great man. Thank you for everything.
I had the honor and privelige of watching Misawa @ ROH's Glory By Honor show in NYC in'07.Can't believe he's gone man. Arigato Misawa! May your emerald light burn bright forever more!
it's sad we lost one of the greatest wrestling legends EVER, its even sadder that US fans will never know how this Great Man inovated the sport of pro wrestling.
