  • OMG so it is not only me, I'm 20 and I can't bike but I reallyyyyyy want to learn. I truly believe that it is never too late to learn/do anything. I want to learn this summer, any tips that might help?:$

  • This is by far the worst way to teach how to ride a bike.

The only thing you achieved is to discourage even more to the new rider.

First let him just to paddle walk in order to learn about the balance, pedaling comes after. (and grabbing him is a mistake too)

  • It's so easy yet so hard!

  • @ForgottenSoul700 I totally agree with you!! SOOO EASY YET SOOO HARD. What a way to describe it!!!!

  • Hi,t aint easy for sure... maybe you should checkout my vids could help?

  • Avoid the tendency of going in the opposite direction when you lose balance. Best advice, turn in the direction you are falling; I know it doesn't make sense but when you actually do it, it works.

  • omg i cant believe hes 20 and learning to ride a bike. what kind of parents did he have?

  • yeah...f.uck man

  • @Rogue849 same as me

  • Hey but I learnt a couple months ago! XD It took me about 6 days of practice and getting my legs all bruised, but it worths it! Now I love to do it. Hey if I learnt you can too!

  • riding my bike lost all its fun for me when my parents took the training wheels off. i never could do it after that.

  • i have the same problem with the guy in the video. Plus the bike in my garage has a really low seat that wont stay up so its really hard to keep my balance. Im gonna go tommorow morning and really try.

  • same here this song realy makes my fucking whant to try

    this sucks

  • I'm gonna be 23 in 5 days and can't fully ride a bike but I'm learning now.

  • it's harder as you get older. had a chance when i was younger - was scared...even more scared now. i hate those who say "it's easy, just pedal"..

  • I'm 12 and I've just learnt! Before we lived in flats so I couldn't learn. When I was younger I either got scared or didn't want to. It's the best feeling in the world, you'll love it when you know how!

  • The way I learned was just to ride. That's it, push off and pedal, In about half an hour I was perfect. No one helped me, I just did it.

  • Guess what, im college student and i cant ride a bike. myfriends make fun of me but...i will learn one day. i will kep trying. we are adults so cannot learn as quickly as kids but we have to keep trying. so you are not alone. Dont give up.

  • If you can not ride a bike, than google "how to ride a bicycle". There is nothing more in life that I love as much as my bike!

  • lol ur supposed to learn how to ride a bike when ur like 5 years old.

  • I'm almost 14 and I still can't so you can suck it

  • so many parents that have failed with their kids. so sad. its not your fault.

  • My parents didn't "fail" me. I didn't want to learn.

  • You're not alone.

    I'm 18 and i can't ride a bike.

    :D

  • im 13 and cant ride so i cant go everywhere with my friends and stuff, as well last year sum kids at school found out and i got embarressed, i cant even try to learn though coz nearly every1 on my street goes 2 my school and would c me

im ok with balance even though im fat, its just get onto the pedals in time w/out falling

  • Don't worry I'm now 21 and I've used a bike for nearly 2500 miles of commute on the street of Boston. Guess when I learn how to ride?

Only 3 years ago when I was 18!

It is NEVER too late to learn how to ride! =D

  • @JimexJimex I hope you're right! I just bought a folding bike from Citizen Bike. I'm 22 and I don't know how to ride (yet). Hoping I can get there.

  • @J3NNIF3R87

    Woot =D

    Don't pedal yet.

Slide and scoot with your feet off the ground.

When you start to fall to a direction, turn the bars a LITTLE bit to that direction.

    THAT'S IT! =D

  • I'm a 20 yr old guy who's still learning !

  • learned when i was 24.

going downhill might sound like a good idea--but don't do it--been there, not pretty.

wearing a cup, i believe, should be mandatory.

  • needs some stabilizers on there !, good sport though .

  • Jeez, I'm 16 and I don't know how to ride a bike either. I wish I did, since I don't really like asking my parents to drive me places, and walking to school isn't very much fun.

  • i tried learning today

my friend said she wouldn't let go of me

but thought that by doing so

I'd learn. I fell into a bush instead.

Ha well, I hope he learns someday

  • try training wheels. lol.

  • This might sound silly, but learning how to ride a bike is obviously very difficult, especially as an adult. It requires coordination of LOTS of muscle groups - arms, legs, vestibular system (balance/posture), etc. It is a complex task that requires cerebrocerebellar function to be fully intact.

I give you props for learning! It's not easy :) GOOD LUCK

  • i hope he will learn how to.. lol.. me too.. i dunno how to balance in a bike.. but im not old rolf.. just 14.. and hope to learn soooN!

  • I learned yesterday..

  • HAHAHAHA

  • no, he wasnt hung over actually, it was new years day and that was his new years resolution... now 22, he still doesn't know!

  • @sebu1985 Hey man why dont you get him some STABILIZERS Im not sure if they do adult ones but worth a look init

  • was he hung over?

  • did he learn? you guys were so nice to help him...unless you were chatting away the whole time....i know someone in her 30s who has never ridden a bicyle nor learned to swim. Hard to imagine life without those pleasures...
