I think it's people like JungleJargon who are a threat to humanity. Certainly NOT Sir David Attenborough. JungleJargon - Your stupidity is astounding mate.
David Attenborough should be banned from public schools because of his baseless belief that mutations order things. That is absurd to the highest degree.
Evolution along with its companions, fantasy, assumption, speculation, conjecture and imagination, has never come close to be almost proven.
There is observable evidence that we have a Maker of all the digitally ordered functions that we have.

@JungleJargon Just watched the vid you posted the link too. I'm convinced because of that. Sense my sarcasm there? Good, it made no sense. It's one of the weakest arguments I've ever heard on any subject. Science has proven that without stars we wouldn't be here. We are from star matter, no intervention by a maker. That is a scientific FACT. Don't waste your time living in fear & blinding yourself from the truth. One truth I am talking about is that David Attenborough is a national treasure.
@JungleJargon Oh, & another thing. Do you know what I believe should be banned from schools? At least on a statutory level, as it was & still is, at the high school I attended all those years ago. Yes, religious education. I was forced, with no choice, to take R.E for my GCSEs, and I spent the whole time wondering why science taught me fact, yet in R.E I was supposed to believe the ancient text from something written so long ago in simple times. Religious education should not be statutory.

This is a mensch. Can anyone tell me why his brother is a Lord and he is a Sir? The accumulative effect of Ascent, Civilisation etc etc, to me, are at least the equal of his brother's work in terms of cultural impact..
Funny, he has the same attitude towards clothes as me. Apart from the fact that mine are olive green combats and cheap white t-shirts, wearing your shirt until the end of the week no matter how stained it is, and wearing the trousers with any necessary sewing repairs to extend their life, and not caring at all for fashion. It just works. Plus, as they say, the most environmentally friendly clothes you can have, are the ones you already have.
@feeltheillinois And in many other movies (IMHO much better movies such as "Brighton Rock", the original "Flight of the Phoenix", "The League of Gentlemen", "10 Rillington Place", etc.) and directed some really awesome movies such as "Oh! What A Lovely War", "Gandhi" and "Cry Freedom".
Richard and David Attenborough are both absolutely great.
@horbergaren Are you kidding? That's his older brother, director, producer and actor Richard Attenborough... a legend in his own right. Yeah... scary good genes... try living up to those two in one family. lolz
@OrthodoxAtheist There's a 3rd brother, John Michael, who chose to stay out of the limelight but did make quite a name for himself in the auto industry; at one time, he was the managing director for Alfa Romeo Britain
@SuperPatrick777 NO! Sir David Attenborough does not believe in God. He's one of the most intelligent people that nature could ever give us. He knows the truth, the real truth, not some kind of fabled holy book.
@SuperMoon74 attenborough is a naturalist not GOD almighty so stop doing a romans chapter 1 and "worshiping the creature " , he does what evolutionists alway's do and that is interprete [ and badly ] what they see built on presuppersitions [ and faulse ones at that ] , like everyone else evolution has never been witnessed and is being taught as fact , they talk about " millions of years " and yet there is only about 4 or 5,000 years of recorded history , attenborough along with / tbc
@SuperMoon74 con't patrick moore have been [ in effect ] hero's of mine since i was a kid when they talk about things that are true and are inpericaly tested , it is when he goes outside the realms of science that like stephen hawkins he starts to make himself look a fool , and as for " nature GIVING us anything " please reflect on what you just said there , nature / laws etc are useless without a mind behind it and a supream power as well .
@SuperMoon74 yes i have seen it , what a waste of talent a great pity, plenty of inteligence but very little wisdom --- yes -- " what is a man who gains the whole world but looses his soul "
One of Attenborough's most haunting, stirring moments was when he, towards the end of THE LIFE OF MAMMALS series (to me, THE greatest of all...), sitting somewhere by the Great Rift Valley, next to some ancient & fossilized foot prints of man's early ancestors (likely those of a man, a small child, & mother), & reflecting solemly on mankind's destructiveness to nature (from land, to lakes, to rivers, to oceans, to other animals, great & small) in the last 200 years alone... Haunting & stirring.
Why is he dressed in a fancy suit? Has the climate changed? LOL No wonder Richard Dawkin classified Attenborough as the 8th wonder of the world --- no, not the man himself, but the wonders he's been sharing with the world, using the subject he loves the most ---- nature herself --- for over 50 years... The work, education, and public service David Attenborough has done for mankind truly has been unrivaled...
It is so ironic that a video about someone who inspires a passion for the natural world and cares little about commercialistic rubbish is preceded here by a pantene shampoo commercial!

An Amazing man!!!!! I've always loved his documentaries. Before I saw this video I figured him to be a somewhat snobby character. Guess I was wrong then.
It must be nice to have the background, achievements and natural, self-esteem so that bragging, arrogance and judging others don't even occur to you. Wish we were all like David A (and Michael P.)
EXCELLENT!!! Witty and very engaging video. Michael Palin is not the least better about his clothes choices. I love the mentioning of Sir David flying in the swamp washed trousers:))))) So charmingly funny I still have a smile on my face. Thanks Mr Palin!
Attenborough's nature documentaries are often quite something. The general impression you get is that you've been invited to a private party by a super-rich English gentleman who's absolutely nuts about biology, so he takes you around the world in this extra-special space/time craft he has, and because he's so famous and so polite the world's leaders let him wander about the countryside all they want in every nation because they know he's just all about all this neat-o natural phenomena
I think it's people like JungleJargon who are a threat to humanity. Certainly NOT Sir David Attenborough. JungleJargon - Your stupidity is astounding mate.
