This new album is a little hard to digest at first. The reason why for me, is the unfimiliar mind-fukcing sound... it sounds like what Cambodian pop music should sound like in the 80s'. if the KR never took power, Cambodia in the 80's would be in a neutral limbo, filled with CIA and KGB spies, and AWOL G.I. surfers. If would be a Dengue Fever World.

@siamean1 But heres the kicker, ..because of the KR's autorcities, there was no modern pop music in Cambodia during the 80s'. Could you imagine SereySothea doing Blondie covers, and Sisamouth covering Led Zepplin. All we can do is imagine... ...what could have been. Dengue Fever is filling that void.
