Could BP Oil use a specially built hydraulic press mechanism to squeeze the blowout protector shut ( that is squeezing the whole thing from the outside ) to stop the present June 2010 oil spill flow in the gulf ? I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. The press has about 19 ton on 230 volt and less on 125 volt which I was on when bending this piece.I made the press.
