I predict Spies to be a future world champion. Lawson was my hero, I was lucky enough to see Sheene and Roberts race; but Lawson was the man. He would turn up and get the job done without all the hype and circus.

It was so much better in Lawson's era with the 500cc two strokes. Plus his competition was insane with Rainey, Schwantz, Spencer, Gardner, Mamola, Haslam, etc... all on the track at the same time. The 80's and early '90s truly were, the "Golder Era" of GP racing.
