  • Hmmm. Hmmm Hmmm Hmmmm what can I say it is very good for you to learn off I you didn't know about this system whatsoever I know it's not about the camra but It wasn't that clear at all. I esspcailly like when she/he really expermented with Iye. I don't know if you saw the coulor (I did! ) but it was really cool.

It was just the Camra that le me down

  • typo 'i know* you

  • Any alternative for the Red Cabbage? I can't see any red cabbage here in the Philippines. And I really need to do that chemistry magic, it's our project.

  • Without cabbage there would be no science!

  • lol fynny

  • me like

  • the ph of lemon juice is 1....according to by science book...so shouldn't lemon juice be stronger then vinegar????

  • @batratrisha not all lemons are the same while vinegar is much more regulated

  • 3:55 i shat my pants !!!!!

  • DEAR VIEWERS,

FOR ASTONISHING FACTS, JUST TYPE ON THE SEARCHING BOX:

    Quran and Science

SEVEN PARTS! YOU MUST LIKE THEM!

  • what are the dependent and independent variables im having truble with this!!! sorry no need to shout..

  • is this easy to make?

  • Will it Blend? That is the Question. :P

  • I tried with my daughter mixing SAFFRON POWDER. Came out a RUSTY BROWN Colour like Zircon Gem, which is kind of nice.

  • you could have used a blender

  • Im doing this for my Science Fair Project!!!!

  • Damn,all I got is green cabbage.

  • whats the thesis of this project

  • why were you shaking the cabbage at the beginning? why couldnt you have just boiled it down?

  • lol I love how you talk.. you talk like a really cool scientist haha :) and this is a great experiment it's fun and safe :)

  • Thank you

  • Say i only wanted to test 1/2 and inch of water. How much red cabbage juice would i need for that?

  • it doesn't surprise me that the lye gave such a result. many public water departments use lye to neutralize and balance the ph of public water supplies. i'm guessing you didn't know that...

  • dudewhich part of it looks like a red ???

  • i always thought it was purple cabbage

  • @rhkj101 lol

  • i did this for my 6th grade Since Fare and went to County. XD

  • were did u get the numberz 2 4 7 9 13

  • thx

  • wtf is this

  • they did this in my school

  • Did that back at skool. Awsome. If only science research was that much fun.

  • Should have tried hydrochloric acid. It might have given you a sort of orange colour.

  • Nice demonstration :)

  • is this a good science expiriment project?

  • yeah it'd be great

  • @dbc616 Great vid, great description and visual details

    :) thumbs up

  • And finding the "exact" pH is completely useless and irrelevant.

  • Well he might be saying that Lemon juice has a lower pH than Vinegar. In the video you have it reversed.

Is your red cabbage juice pH neutral? The pH in tap water varies considerably. I know this is a relative test. But when you apply numbers, you may mislead the audience in thinking you're specifying some sort of precision.

    Very cool video anyway!

  • You may not know this, but those little curved lines before "pH" mean "approximate."

  • LOL... So Lemon juice is approximately more basic than vinegar?

Obviously you're not implying that. Nor do I want to get into a semantic argument. What I meant was that you shouldn't be so sensitive with criticism.

hongkong743's was very harsh -- He misinterpreted your video. Instead fighting fire with fire...Maybe agree, take note, and try to be more clear in the future videos??

  • @dbc616 Haha

  • @dbc616 but you make it sound like vinegar has a lower pH than lemon juice. The point wasn't about exactness, but rather your demonstration is incorrect.

  • @hongkong743 u dnt have 2 be mean n smart nme calling kindergarden

  • Nice narration on there, David. :) Awesome colors at the end!

  • Thanks

  • Good! I would have used an organic solvent like an alcohol to extract the cabbage flavanoids because it will keep much longer than if water is used as the solvent.

  • Yeah I considered a different solvent, but I also considered that this is supposed to be a home experiment. However, I'm planning to elaborate on this video by possibly doing that, and I might make pH test strips.
