I know this is wrong, and we need to fix it. Part of it is helping those people who are forced to kill these animals in order to make a living. A lot of countries who deal these animals are in poverty, and a good percentage of the dealers may do this to be able to support thier families- for some, it's the only way. So before some people go directly to assuming that this is all bad intention, we have to see that there are a lot more issues to fix than just busting every illegal trader.

But pangolins are so coooool and unique looking!! I hope they don't wipe them out!! I'm not against people eating unusual local foods but if they are going to do that they should start a pangolin farm or something so they are a sustained meat source and the wild pangolins can live free within their ecosystem.

I was about to give thumbs up at the beginning because I thought it was going to be about, "smuggling underage girls." There are far more devastating crimes being committed in this country than "smuggling animals."

Some of these animals are a delicacy in some countries. Can you believe it? People actually eat them for food. What's wrong with that?
