run quick slants with no huddle,burns that ass all day. did it against a guy that uses the raiders. he whooped me the first time til i used anything shotgun or single back quick slants. he would back off once in awhile then i'd run my regular offense til he came back to it. whooped that ass the second time.

dude, Nano is using 2-4 blitzers in a certain way that tricks the AI into not blocking one at all. This guy isn't Nano-ing, he's just blitzing normally with 6 guys. Of course they're getting to the QB quick, you're not keeping the TE in to block and you're in empty backfield! How do you want the AI to block 6 people with 5 linemen? You are right, you need to get rid of the ball quick if you're going to play empty-shotgun.

i wouldnt call this a glitch but its a flawed cause it works more often than not (as far as getting pressure) but its beatable. i played against a guy who did this every play and he got pressure every play. you have to run an offensive play in shotgun to buy a lil more time but u need 2 run rb routes and quick drag routes. trust me you'll eventually beat him and he'll quit

Rofl this isn't cheating as most people make it out to be. It happens in nfl too. Nano is a more fancier term for saying overloading one side of the line. Steelers use this. Other teams like eagles, ravens, jets do this as well.

Blitz schemes all around the NFL employ these techniques involving disguise, and in the case of the "SPY" LB, one or more decoy blitzers to confuse O-line blocking assignments. It would be pretty funny if you saw Andy Reid calling Mike Shannahan a "cheater" in a post game conference cuz his O-line got fooled on one of these plays. The "nano" arguement seems pretty silly.

It absolutely is cheating, why do u think all these sorry losers use it, because they know its just a game and you're limited to what u can audible into, especially with linemen. In a real NFL game it can be stopped, not in madden. SO yeah, this absolutely is cheating and ive been reporting these blitzing cheaters to the PS network lately.

I had to look this up cause some fool accused me of this "Nano Blitz" crap. I never new about it. I do always use the 46 inside blitz and bring my FS over the Center. Don't see how this is considered cheating because it is beat able.

You have no idea what a nano blitz is. A nano is blitzing 3-4 people and getting pressure by manipulation the offensive line (i.e. QB spy blitz). Simply having 6 rushers vs 5 blockers is considered an overload blitz since one part of the line is being overloaded. The term nano has been overused lately. Make a distinction from an overload blitz and a nano blitz next time.

@10oneluv10 yes when its a manipulation of the functionality of the game. In real football, if a team set up that way then the linemen and RB/FB/TE will see it and pick up the blocks. Nano blitzes allow people to line up the same way every time and get instant pressure without the ability to pick up the blitzers.... another thing is before the 3rd patch there was a glitch that allowed peopel to put a linebacker in QB Spy and if he was placed over the line, linemen wouldnt block him... problem

@FBItalian11 hmmm, well if it works all the time and there is no way to stop it, then yes that's cheating. but i've played against some dudes that have ways of getting pressure, but it didn't ever seem like a glitch that i couldn't stop, just clever scheming. again, if they are sending more rushers than i have blockers, then that is a sack waiting to happen. but that forced me to hot route more blockers in, and then they weren't able to get pressure like that.

Next, placing a LB on the line in spy coverage is'nt anything glitchy to me. NFL defenses show blitz all the time with decoys to confuse the O-lines blocking assignments. I dont understand why this would be percieved as cheating or a glitch. Maybe a more effective solution would be to create a more intelligent blocking system.

Great Vid! Try this also:

1. Get in a shotgun formation w/ a TE.

2. Set the TE route to a blocking assignment.

3. Motion the said TE towards where you think the nano's coming (most likely inside).

4. Snap the ball while the TE's in the middle of motion (when he's closest to the nano blitzer, without blocking the C).

5. The TE will completely block or at least buy you an extra second.

It really doesn't matter right or left block assignment for your TE, it's all about the timing. :)

Assuming that your TE is on the right:

1. Hot route block right.

2. Motion left and wait to a complete stop.

3. Motion back towards the mid of the form and hike the ball before he's behind C (usually behind LG). Timing is THE ESSENCE.

4. Watch the asshole's nanoblitzing ways neutralized.

5. Laugh at him while making yo mama's jokes.

All that needs to be done if someone is in man nano is to set a receiver in motion. As soon as he's taken a half step hike the ball and he's open in less then a second. Zone nano's no problem, play action him to his death. This info is being brought to you by a level 40....
