Never use fuel line cleaners on an older car - the bits block the injectors! Tht air filter is not as good as a paper one. Any details of how many microns it filters to? i watched other videos that show they are not as good. If these products were so good, manufacturers would put them in as standard. They don't which means they are not the best. I wouldn't go near K&N, they don't filter to the standard of a paper filter and I had £200 damage due to the oil hitting the MAF sensor.
@urbex2007 Actually these filters are OEM for military applications. They arent a K&N - Nanofiber by Donaldson and are not profitable for manufacturers. Follow the money. The fuel additive is not a fuel line cleaner but a "Injector Cleaner" as well as issues in carb models. It's saved me problems in the AMC Eagle, 57 Studebaker and my Mini Cooper with 150,000 miles. The EA air filter is 98% at 2-microns. And flow is better than OEM - They have a 75 Beta rating and listed with the FTC..
The Nano fiver filter a lot tougher than paper you can put as close as you want at any angle and removes the dust and it wont hurt it. Dust won't enter the filter like paper
K&N filters are a joke I can't believe peope are still using them. They don't filter good ...and the oil damages sensors on many of these new vehicals
Shouldn't you blow from the clean side of the filter out? When you use an air gun and blow from the dirty side in, you just force the dirt deeper into the media.

It was cleaned on the correct side, but not at a 45degree angle as recommended, also recommended between 15/20lbs air.
This AMSoil filter stomps my old K&N.

That's not how you do a maintenance, sorry, this was an advertisement, not an advice.

Exactly!

Doesn't matter with the Amsoil EaA filters, because of the nano-fibers are on the surface of the "dirty" side.
