I can understand why some people might dislike a song. It doesn't pertain to them, It might have bad lyrics, The singer might not have sung well, But what intelligent person that knows anything at all about music will listen to this song, or many like it by James Brown, and honestly not think that its a good composition? It shows blatant ignorance. Music nowadays isn't sung by the person that wrote it, it's all fluff to sell records, but this music is exemplary of what music should be.

Saw James Brown in Chicago -1968?

He played the Auditorium Theater . The joint was jammed...( 3200 black folks and 300 white folks)..We had 2nd or 3rd balcony seats which were actually hanging seats from the ceiling...once JB starts the funk..people get up and start to jump...seats bouncing...the whole hanging section is a bouncing platform of funk. Thought the whole place was going to go down in flames..which it did.....James Brown and the Flames!! Best of times!! My vote for best all time!
