  • Has anyone ever bothered to tell the All Blacks how rediculous they look doing that?

  • @rocker6666

its awesome, they whole world loves it.. maybe you should travel abit more

  • just for shits and giggles my response would be the macarena

  • proud to be welsh

  • lol GAY

  • New Zealand should really figure out an awesome responce if something like this happens again, just makes them look like they dont know what to do

  • They should have sprinted towards them, but stopped just before ( die hard rugby fans, yes i know you can get fined for ' interupting ' the haka or some shit).

  • looks like a big boyband dancing around a handbag

  • R.I.P Gary Speed

  • that moment when this is a rugby video and people talk about cricket *facepalm*

  • Da iawn cymru! Mwynhaius I gywlio cymru chwarae rygbi efo sealand newydd du's

  • challenge accepted meme would fit perfectly

  • India is da king of cricket

  • Fabulous, maybe the Welsh could have sung "Men of Harlech" like they did at Rourke's Drift?

  • Was that it? They just stood there!

  • I like this.

  • new Zealand is great of king ruby

brazil is great of king football

australia is great of king cricket

fc barcelona is great of club history

  • @peaceworldlifes you are mistaken fc barcelona sucked 10 years ago, Real Madrid is the greatest club in history

  • Who gives a sh*t, this is Rugby!

  • @peaceworldlifes England beat Australia at cricket, so that crown goes to us.

  • did they just stomp the yard?

  • Seriously if I was in front of that lot doing the Haka I would shit myself

  • I would be scared if I was the ref just standing in between. Intense challenge.

  • aland rowland wales i thinki wouldve won it they were the best in the rwc

  • the haka is nz's way of saying " this is war" is not giving them an advantage its just a tradition saying they are ready for it

  • the welsh gave respect to the haka but the refused to back down................

  • wales should have won against france

  • class. we stared them off even sfter they did the haka, they couldnt move us. Cymru am byth <3

  • as a welshman i think the haka is incredible to world rugby, just look what it did to the atmosphere in that stadium before the game. it gives noone an advantage/disadvantage, just hypes everyone up for the game and gets adrenaline pumping. only thing i dont agree with is when new zealanders think wales were disrespectful in standing up to it? if anything its showing more respect and giving it the attention and reaction it deserves

  • The haka is awesome, and this was the best challenge yet.

  • Can you imagine the padded wusses from American "football" playing against the All Blacks?

  • The Haka has nothing to do with sport, it is a war dance and just provokes violence. The reason to do a Haka if you intend to follow it up with a spear, it shouldn't be a part of rugby.

  • @MrBanzaiWarrior You dont understand anything about history do you you fucking egg? a haka is a challenge dipshit

  • @gturner1029 Thank you! What people don't understand is that the Haka isn't giving us any advantage or disadvantage. It's just a tradition that has been around for just over a century.

    -Nick

  • @zxskunkmuffinxz Yeah well, it's stupid that people even suggest that it does.

  • @MrBanzaiWarrior The Haka is a tradition that has been around since 1900. You can't just take it away. That's like saying "oh, the National anthem is nothing to do with sport, we are just not going to perform it anymore." It just won't happen.

    -Nick

  • @MrBanzaiWarrior Who the fuck are you to say the Haka shouldn't be apart of Rugby? That's like me saying you shouldn't have been born. Which would have been a good thing given your arrogance.

  • @MrBanzaiWarrior It is tradition, it gets everyone pumped up. The haka is meant as a challenge. The All Blacks have always done it and will always do it whether you like it or not.

  • @mRcLuTcHxx fuck you, i'm a kiwi and the haka is a tradition that began thousands of years ago, so have a little respect you fucking wanker

  • @Medifro

Don't forget sir edmund hillary, first man to successfully climb mt. everest

  • Hahaha ! Kiwis think they are so scary after the Haka ! Fucking dumb cunt ! Good on ya Wales !

  • @mRcLuTcHxx what and the fucking welsh are scary you cunts in the northern hemisphere make us laugh come down our parts and say that shit you racsit prick !!!

  • @86nugget19 haha your a joke mate, you are from nz cunt Nuff said.

  • @mRcLuTcHxx Wow man, that is racist. How would you feel if I said "You're from Walse(this is an example. I couldn't care less what country you come from because, quite frankly, I hate it now)cunt, 'Nuff said"? It's the same thing. Dick

    -Nick

  • @mRcLuTcHxx thats right mate, best country in the world, jealous much ?

  • @mRcLuTcHxx I'm of Welsh Decent. Your a dick. The majority of white NZ are of the Celtic races including All Black players. Go back to your fucking Xbox fool.

  • Nonu gonnah KILL you boi

  • search up on you tube flight of the chonchoreds they do songs/funny and there frum nz

  • im from nz and i like the haka its just kinda werd

  • Am I the only person who thinks the Haka is just a load of old Bollocks

  • @MrDaleplan maybe your just an old ball sack.

  • wales have culture they just dont put it into rugby maybe wales can sing a staunch folk song too build up there spirits im not joking scotland they could play the bagpipes teams theres alot of culture around nz rugby and the haka is part of the hype I dont see any thing wrong with what france did either the arrow formation it was good they were not disrespectful maybe that was there war acception too the haka

  • @mythicalballz what people forget back in the old days a haka was too show off too your enemy how strong you were before battle all nations all cultures should be proud of there heritage

  • @mythicalballz how strong in song then they would use there taiaha patu mere teeth lol and kill each other rugby is how the modern day warrior fights

  • They are only men, they can be broken.

    Cymru am byth.

  • how ya ee ya wah tah yaaa uwww ahhh YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • all the teams that stand up to the New Zealand haka showing their not intimidated and excepting the challenge but they always seem to loose the game

  • @starzscream614 ...ye but thats not because of fear or intimidation. there are not scared. NZ are just a better rugby side. they won it on skill not intimidation

  • I like the haka too but let's be honest. It's starting to take too much of a place. It's just too much.

  • I WAS THERE

  • INTIMIDATION-HAKA OPPOSING TEAM-DAMN....

  • I don't watch this sport but this Haka shit is badass

  • wales didint win you dumb fuck nz all the way won it bitch suck cock

  • just gotta love the psychological tension. I really like it when teams react to the haka. However it should be without disrespect of the NZ culture, just like this example, they are just doing some psychological war.

Oh and the journalist "this feels like challenge accepted " :p

  • do they have any prejudice against cheerleaders?

  • Wales you fucking legends!

  • That was awkward.

  • wales = fails

  • @billnapier69 Fuck you!

  • Love it when teams react to the haka!!!! :D

  • Go the All blacks

  • what response?

  • @deraAZOify Were they stand still to the hacka when they are suppst to continue the game

  • i'll tell you guys a joke...... Wales

  • @MaoriWithaGun Says the Maori...LOL

  • Would also say that the Welsh people..could be more passionate about rugby than we are..lol..Love 2 Wales and the rugby team..get rid of ur coach!!!..lol.. send him back 2 Waikato..we need him for the Chiefs...

  • I must say this... well done Wales for accepting the challenge made from the All Blacks..This is what the HAKA is...A " wero" ...a challenge..You get more respect if u stand up to it..then return the challenge, than turn and walk away..This is taught in all our schools..one side will "perform" a haka,..the other returns with their own haka..WELL DONE WALES..Chur hooo from New Zealand..!!!

  • what year/game was this?

  • @iwannabepilot1 I think it was in 2008

  • well done New Zealand

  • Muito bacana!!!!

  • this is one of the greatest things i have ever seen on a rugby field

  • I thought one of the welsh were just going to jump out screaming "COME ON THEN YA CUNT !!"

  • @Finuts183 LOL made my day

  • Brilliant vid - it's a bit silly to say the Haka is anything less than fantastic. I think the issue is that it's a war dance which is intended to intimidate while also being a wonderful part of NZ's game and heritage, so other teams feel that NZ are allowed to challenge/intimidate them legitimately but they're not allowed to respond. So I thought that this response by Wales was very powerful, I also liked France's but Willie Anderson's or Austin Healy's is a little too much.

  • WOW!!! Never saw this one...love the challenge from Wales. Chur to the All Blacks for standing their ground...too much!!

  • Well done Wales....good stuff...

  • i wish i knew all the lyrics

  • Frigging' awesome!!

  • Kiwi's love other team's accepting the haka and giving a challenge of there own, it fires up the game before it has even began. Its not NZ, its not the All Blacks, its the competition rules that deny another team advancing too much onto a cultural challenge.

  • @rxpom I agree, Im a Samoan NZer and staunch All Black fan and I loved the Welsh response above, and more recently, the French response at the RWC 2011 final in Auckland this month. Much admiration and respect to opponents who take up the challenge!

p.s. yes Samoa, Tonga and Fiji also have their ritual challenge. I think its a Polynesian warrior thing...

  • love the stand off. Interesting that the NZ backed down first. They were blown out of the water by the welsh response (and I include the crowd in that)

  • @psymonds100 Someone had to. The All Blacks had a rugby game to play that day.

  • @psymonds100 it was fantastic that the Welsh responded, and in fairness the AB's should have backed off first. After all, they set the challenge, the dragons accepted the Haka and challenged it - Perfect, respect both ways!

  • @YuenMen

    Ha ha.

Giving the middle finger is a sign of dexterity and represents one as in we intend to be number one.

  • As an Australian I have no problem with the Haka, but frankly the throat slitting is absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. I say if they give the throat slit then give them the middle finger. You earn respect, but you lose it faster.

  • France played incredibly well, very very impressive. Their response to the haka was perfect and the fact that they got fined is ridiculous. However, if they 'deserved to win', then they would have won. All Blacks absorbed a huge amount of pressure and ultimately earned the win. So proud.

  • yeeeeehhhaaaa buddy!!!! thats how wales roll !!!!!

  • cual-respuesta?!!!

  • haha all you jealous faags a wins a win ue cant change it so change uer lives FULUS lol

    ALL BLACKS

  • response was not running to starting positions

All Blacks got scared when their funny dance didn't work and ran off first

Also rubbish final, France should have won, ref took pretended not to see All Black high tackles and blatant time wasting at the end was pathetic.

Nothing to celebrate in New Zealand

  • @jf123456789101112131 100% agree with you mate. There was no justice in that final. France outplayed them in it, without a doubt.

  • @jf123456789101112131 And that's coming from a guy who's been living in NZ the past 11 years.

  • @jf123456789101112131 the whole nation begs to differ. i've never seen so much pride.

  • @adrianuss9 What is there to be proud of, all you do in rugby is run with a ball to get some points, you don't really achieve anything. Also the french team got fined $5000 just for walking towards the All Blacks when they were doing the Haka, what were they supposed to do just bend over and take it. Maybe the All Blacks should be fined every time they do the Haka

  • @jf123456789101112131 rugby is just as much a respectable sport as any other, and no i dont want to hear your opinion about what a respectable sport is. the haka is exactly the same to me as the Dutch eleven singing the Wilhelmus before a game of football. also the reason the french team got fined is because this is, like national anthems in football games, tradition. havnt you heard? its rude to disregard tradition.

  • @jf123456789101112131 same again, it's not NZ dishing out the fines - We kiwi's don't like it either, we liked the challenge, it made the game! The Welsh responded and the crowd loved it, they didn't love it however when the All Blacks were not allowed to perform it so they did in their change rooms. When the crowd saw that they were actually unimpressed with the WRU.

  • @jf123456789101112131 You shouldn't talk about stuff that you don't know. The Haka is a traditional thing that we(and some other nations)do before the start of a sports match. What you are suggesting is fine us for doing the Haka? That's like suggesting we fine a nation for singing their nations anthem before a match. It's just ridiculous

    -Nick

  • response was not running to positions first

All blacks got scared that their funny dance didn't work and ran off first

  • The wales Players and there Face's all like Fucked up and shiting there pants to Afraid to All Backs

  • response? what response?

  • WALES SHOULD OF WON THE 2011 WORLD CUP!!!! But I still believe in them for the future

  • @Dezza1999 So should have the Boks, but that didnt either so shut up

  • @landlord862 No I wont shut up I am just supporting my country

  • I've read far too many comments to keep quiet, why do people feel that the Haka is an unacceptable part of a challenge? All the pacific nations that have a tribal influence to their society have this kind of challenge before a physical game. I feel that it's only because NZ are world beaters that people dislike it. We have been performing a Haka since the early 1900's. All our schools are taught about culture and perform Hakas, it is tradition, acceptance and integration. Tribes were here first!

  • @allout4play No other countries do any pre-match dance it is just New Zealand who do and when teams get scared and lose matches to them it is just because they think they should be scared and they get confused and don't play properly. No offence meant but the Haka looks pretty ridiculous.

  • @jf123456789101112131 ... Actually Fiji, Tonga and Samoa also have pre-match war dance.

  • @kavineshreddy They're all in the South-eastern Pacific, people from other areas of the world don't do anything and when they try to respond they get fined. Fair??????

  • @jf123456789101112131 No it's not fair but that's not coming from NZ'rs mate, the IRB which is predominantly northern hemisphere personal do the fines. In NZ we actually paid for the fine for the Samoan wearing a non regulation mouth gaurd (a technical term for a non sponsor) We have also partitioned against the French fine and are considering paying that. Don't hate the AB's, vent it at the IRB they are money hungry fat cats!

  • @jf123456789101112131 you have absolutely no idea about what you are talking about then, you watch this on youtube, why don't you use your swede and look for Tonga vs Fiji haka.

  • @jf123456789101112131 You need to research on your facts, Mister. Fiji, Tonga and Samoa all do their one form of a Haka before EVERY match. It's not just New Zealand. Show some respect.

    -Nick

  • @allout4play who the fuck dislike the haka ?!! its awesome

  • @allout4play

I'm not from NZ, but Haka's are the most badass thing ever.

  • @allout4play Dude, you are so cool.

  • @allout4play yes but when teams are fined thousands of dollars for simply walking up to it, it becomes unfair

  • @lachie10 the fine is unfair we don't like it here either! We hated the IRB for their harsh rulings on pathetic little things. It's all nothing to do with the Haka though, it's been done for years and years and in any other competition these fines wouldn't happen. The Haka was not unfair and neither was the French challenge, the fine was all that was unfair.

  • @allout4play NZ:

    First to let women vote.

First ( if not only ) to acknowledge the original people.

Ernest Rutherford, a British born and lived in NZ, is the father of nuclear physics.

Not bad for a country with 4 mil. people.

  • @Medifro Man i dont want to be starting anything but if thats the best 4 points you can come up with thats fairly poor

  • @Medifro

not quite mate... #2 goes to CANADA

  • @alikos88 I didnt know that, thanks, but its still a phenomenal achievement. NZ's culture is unique in mixing Maori & Western cultures together.

  • @Medifro but australia claims all your good people till they screw up....

  • @Medifro May I add that your country also has the most decent and honest cricket team, with players who respect the spirit of the game. The BlackCaps Rule!!

  • ok, well how are the ladies? I hope the ladies are not bad as well. Feel free to send the nice hunnies my way please! Thanks

  • @allout4play I agree with you, I really like the New Zealand team. This performance is awesome. The performance it self would be intimating for their opponents to face. I would really love to go to New Zealand and love to see live performance of the game with this involved.

  • @allout4play Im Irish and i love the haka. It makes rugby tolerable to be honest. Showing respect for another persons culture is important to me :)

  • if that was me i wouldn't let them do the haker i would rugby tackle them there and then

  • @XBLGamer1996 and that is why Rugby is played by professionals, not idiots like you

  • @dclipe wow it was a joke jeez let me quess your like 100 because your a boring fart and anyway i no im a idiot dont need you to tell me it

  • if you hate the haka you hate the game

  • the welsh show respect and unity. well done wales! hope they continue to get better. it's continuity they need (and warren gatland) haha

  • good luck New Zealand

  • Comment removed

  • @alunrichardson Are you seriously asking where is the tradition for the haka in rugby?????? Have you watched any rugby in the last 50 years? It's clear that you're a Brit who knows sweet fuck all about antipodean rugby or culture. I'm 7th generation. The corroboree and the walkabout are my traditions, not Morris dancing and haggis. National identity is about the land and people you live with, not your ancestors from 200 years ago

  • Sorry, don't like this haka. There's no tradition to it for one thing, I'm an Aussie and I know all the words and actions to the old one. Most of all, I don't like the throat-slitting. Forget the haka, if anyone made a throat-slitting gesture to me on the rugby field, then I wouldn't be happy til they were being carried off on a stretcher. Want us to respect the haka? Try showing some respect.

  • @mcnesta80 the hakas a challenge, fool. throat slitting is them saying you're dead meat unless you fight back. why so sensitive

  • this would have been the two sides in the final 2011

  • and then Wales got smashed! lol

  • @alunrichardson This might just be the most ignorant comment Ive read the whole year. Not only because maoris are new zealanders, but also Haka is passed down from maoris as a national symbol --- it's not just for rugby, it's everywhere, can be performed by men, women and children and it can be performed for all purposes. Every single primary schools in NZ teaches Haka and related cultural background. Next time when you try to tell me about my tradition, make sure you do some research first.

  • Epic!!

It isn't disrespectful at all. Standing your ground while the enemy does a war dance on your turf is what's expected of everyone going into battle!

  • This is a respectful response to a Haka. You challenge a haka AFTER they do it. Not during it like the English in this video:

    /watch?v=hL8WomOsKtk&feature=related

  • All Blacks on Sunday FTW! Good luck to Wales in the playoffs. Beat them Aussies Wales!

  • yeah they really need to bring back the old haka from a few years back, this one doesnt quite have the same effect

  • @alunrichardson Yes it is.

  • personally i love the haka .one of the great spectacles in rugby

  • what was the score?

  • who won? Oh yeah the all blacks. and from then on no one respondes to the haka cos they will loose. from 1095 to 2011 NZ rules all rugby.

  • funny how you go to watch haka video's and there the same 5 people writing racists and anti haka comments......like seriously you think writing comments is gonna get the haka banned ? have you thought that maybe outside of your head your fellow countrymen probably love and respect the haka as it is a fascinating and Unquie to NZ and its Maori heritage just grow up

  • Haka is the easy bit. It when the game starts is the hard bit!!

  • In my country... every kids and teenagers love to watch Haka...

  • @Zodist It's pathetic that you guys don't have any tradition that can be showed off at all.

  • @Zodist Too bad im from New Zealand It does show respect to the country NZ has probaly some of the most respectful payers in the world Fucking racist where are you from australia

  • @Zodist Hahahahahahaahahahaha, you must be an aussie. still a bit sour after the ass kicking you's got on Sunday. Never mind you've got 4 to get over it. Hahahahahahaha sore LOSER!

  • @Zodist Wow. Chill out, fella. It's just a traditional thing we do to show pride. There is no disrespect in it. If anything we are showing the other team how much we respect them that we have to summon spirits from heaven to beat them. Most teams are more than happy to face the haka. Think about it.

  • @BigBagsForRent Ok but seriously really do they have to do haka to show pride in sports? Why do you think another teams that face the haka look totally absurd? Here in this video the welsh players looks so absurd maybe think they are bunch of patheic kids trying to act tough.Remember quite a few years back the all blacks had to do the haka in the change room in Wales?Look mate I,m not be racist at all.Or I,m saying is that is it necessary to do the haka in foreign countries to insult other culture

  • I wanna learn this and do this before I play in net :P

  • hey, but this is alain rolland !!! hello alain !!!

  • Why not just respond with a tap dance?

  • Awks cus wales lost

  • 3:02 "good luck to them but now they have to back it up with action!" As always Wales can never back it up against the AB's, not even in their home ground!

  • Wales against the All Blacks kinda reminds me of shire folk taking on the uruk-hai, lol

  • 2:56 I am what I am...... I am my own special creation!
